Attendance is starting to go down in some places and that has been a topic of sports radio shows recently. College basketball is really feeling it right now.

Yeah but that's in all aspects of entertainment right now, all the major sports are facing attendance issues because of the advent of HDTV. It's much easier to watch at home with a big ass TV and sound system making it feel like you are there instead of having to deal with the issues of going to a live event. The motion picture business has been facing this since DVD's and now Blu-Ray's along with pirating and then you have the TV networks dealing with DVR's. It's a whole new world.
