Mark Henry's spot is pretty much set as the strongman that everyone believes is a beast but can do jobs and not hurt his character

Cena is well known huge Cesaro backer and he loves working with him. Regarding the Reigns/Henry match....the fans that work with me were buzzing about that match talking about how Reigns beat him so easily and that he is a bad bad man so that story worked. I am kinda surprised they didn't tease more for RAW next week with it being the lead in for the Network.
  19. Pond has kinda changed their rep over the last couple of years but they had a long run of suck
  20. Nassau is an all-timer and earned the name of the Mausoleum because it was always dead. The Pond in Anaheim was also shitty and named Mausoleum West. The Omni was always a fun venue live so I'm partial to that one, MId-South Coliseum was another one, Tulsa Convention Center for the UWF tapings, and every JCP TV taping setting from 1985-88.
  21. I went to RAW a year ago and there were a few MILFs there with their kids, I guess. Not just MILFs but there were a lot of chicks in packs at the past few shows I've been to in the ATL. All of them loved Cena of course.
  22. If you think wrestling hurts getting laid then you haven't been to WWE shows recently because there are a lot of women there. You could explain away "goodhelmet" by saying it's code for a blowjob. Maybe it's a Southern thing though regarding wrestling because it's way more acceptable to be a fan down here than maybe other places. Regarding talking to people about wrestling a lot of my friends that watch are the ones that watch just weekly TV and don't follow online so they are into the product way differently than I am and it's fun talking to them because they don't have the average online mentality and they watch with no analysis in mind just watching it for fun.
  23. I think it's fair to say that a match doesn't have to be good but it can still be good wrestling if you know what I mean. I always point to Jimmy Valiant who was never really a good worker but I always watching enjoy him in the ring which makes it good wrestling in a way.
  24. I have never hid it and there are so many people especially down here who has watched wrestling in the past or now that there is a lot of common ground.
  25. Dave made various trips to Memphis over the years so yeah I know he was into Memphis and he was pretty positive towards the territory but it always seemed that it didn't get the love that other territories got. Dave was way more into World Class than Memphis and TV availability was probably the reason as well as Dave lived there for a while but still. Regarding Joe's list....I now fully understand what he is into as a fan and that's cool because that was the point of getting him to put out his 100 names but if you don't think Memphis could be all-action at times then you are mistaken because I think everyone who watched a good sample size of Memphis stuff from the 80's could tell you that it definitely wasn't a mat based territory. Memphis was more known for their wild brawling and a forerunner for what became ECW. It's a shame we never got a Lawler/Flair houseshow match on tape because even though he has so many great matches with many great opponents a definitive Flair match could've opened more eyes to him. If you don't think having a great match against Flair doesn't help someone who rarely worked him...just check out the AWA results and how the Bock match ranked.
