  1. That was a really good show. I had a blast. And Dirty Dom being the JD MVP was perfect booking.
  2. This show has been a blast so far. Does WWE have some new talent in video production? The hype videos have improved immensely, and the Nakamura ones are legit fantastic.
  3. How many billionaires on that list? I mean, fuck all the rich promoters who fucked talent and always did/do. Jarrett rich or Khan rich. Fuck them. But at least Jarrett, Crockett, and McMahon knew how to promote wrestling AND deal with wrestlers, for bad or good.
  4. First of all, there's no such thing as overpaying the wrestlers, that's great. But despite that there is no such thing as good billionaires and Tony Khan has clearly shown that he can break records but can't manage or control wrestlers. Until he either grows a set and stops being a pal/ mark with his employees or hires people to do it, AEW will continue to be the number two company that can't get out of it's own way. They just set a fucking record, and all anyone can talk about is Punk rightfully showing 90210 Dylan's kid what Fuck around and find out means. It's insane and it's not sustainable.
  5. I think Khan is a billionaire and therefore, fuck him. I also think he's probably a nice guy who thought being the first number two promotion since WCW was gonna be a cakewalk because he has no idea how to be a boss of wrestlers
  6. Unless you're talking about the cartoon tiger, Ummm. What? Khan just pulled off something historic and the only things anyone is talking about is shit that an actual Boss would take care of. E Feds don't take into account Pro Wrestlers.
  7. Cole was a WWWF wrestling fan since he was a kid. Years ago when the old WWE On Demand service aired the Shea Stadium card with Bruno vs Larry it was over dubbed by Foley and Cole. Away from Vince on a project McMahon didn't even know about, Cole was dropping all kinds of knowledge. The fact that he never did that on air for all those years is just because he was following McMahon's directions.
  8. The Terry Funk Hatdcore match being a Texas Tornado match where all four guys worked stiff as fuck with no weapons and ended with one table spot was fucking awesome. I'd bet the farm Heyman helped book that. It was great.
  9. Oh I totally understand, man. I knew you didn't mean anything douchey by it. I just literally had seen some blonde nazi scumbag from FOX or something celebrating the loss and then came to the forum to see how RAW started cause I have a three hour delay.
  10. Meanwhile, here in the USA, all the weird America First, right wing, Fucking pieces of shit are publicly celebrating the women's loss because the team is "woke." It's so exhausting.
  11. I could go on for hours about the commentary and Renee . And I will on Mystery Titans Theatre eventually. Listening to Kelly try to figure out how to professionally work with passive aggressive motor mouth Excalibur, Taz, and useless Tony and succeeding was something else.
  12. That was a good show. Not THE GREATEST CARD EVER, EVER , EVER!" Like Young and the others were hyping it during the pre show.
  13. Best rage after having hair or beard shaved: Jimmy Valiant
  14. That was the best AEW TV show in a long, long time. Kevin Kelly and Nigel were fantastic, and are the best commentators on AEW one show in.
  15. Kelly, I know you must have been as happy as I was when the guest Tom finally couldn't help himself and started correcting Robert on things during the Attitude Era and Owen stuff.
  16. I believe " shake" is actually the correct pronunciation. How funny was the discussion about the Playboy interview? I was laughing all the way to work.
  17. I loved it. I'm a huge BTB fan, and I always enjoy when people from outside the bubble cover wrestling even if they get a few things wrong because that's not the point. Crime In Sports' wrestling episodes are hilarious and only one of the guys is/ was a fan. And BTB is also a funny show. The four part series on Mengele was fascinating and funny, that's a fucking tightrope to walk. To put this series in perspective, the only other six parter was on Kissinger.
  18. Part one of Robert Evans Behind The Bastards six part series on McMahon dropped yesterday. It's great stuff and hasn't even gotten to McMahon yet. Part one covers the origins of wrestling, some old time stories, and the Von Erichs.
  19. TK is a billionaire who approved a DEAN sign and donated what he found in a couch cushion. There wouldn't be an AEW without Dean. Five grand? Come on. Sorry, Dean Rasmussen means a lot to me.
  20. I've been part of two live AEW crowds and I've seen on TV the crowds. It's at least 75% hipster nerds , not pilled up Q transphobe morons.
  21. What I read was that they met and smoothed things over since Punk has publicly talked shit about Miz for years.
  22. Chavo now says he didn't mean it and was " being a heel" adding " I still got it."
  23. I think the upcoming multi part series about McMahon on the Behind The Bastards podcast will really dive deep. Robert Evans, the host ( not that Robert Evans) is a journalist who leaves no stones unturned.
  24. I wonder if Buck Zumhoffe is too much of a fucked up story for Dark Side. They did do Grizzly Smith, so I guess not.
