I bawled my eyes out during that Mark/ Lethal match. It was fantastic, and it's an example of using the art form as a way to honor someone. It's similar to the Bret/ Benoit match on Nitro for Owen, but to be honest? This match hit me harder in the feels. Like I said, I haven't cried like that for a wrestling show in awhile.

WWE TV 01/23 - 01/29 Fist of the North Star turns 40 this year

I enjoyed the fuck out of that show. Dom is fucking great. He's a heat magnet who gets boos in a time where wrestling fans love to cheer and chant, but rarely just fucking BOOII! -
Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 4

Santino was awesome. Not everything he was part of was great, but the great stuff made up for the bad stuff. He threw himself 100 percent into everything they gave him, and that's why he got so much dopey shit over. Blaming Foley for the cobra seems pretty short sighted as far as the big picture goes. Mr Socko was still a god damned mandible claw, a vicious move. The cobra was a stupid poke to the neck that looked dumb as a finish. Never the less, Santino rules. He made me laugh legit during an era of WWE with a lot of really bad " comedy." "Jerry Lawler, I stole your delicious sandwich!" is one of the best bits ever on WWE TV and it was all Santino's delivery. -
Jay Briscoe passes away in car accident. Age 38

Such a tragedy. I saw Jay vs. Samoa Joe in a cage at my first ROH show in 2004 in a great match. It was the Rexplex show where Jay gigged himself way too deep. I've never seen a bloodier wrestler in a match. The blood was falling off of him in big clots. Jay, to his credit I suppose, finished the match and that night I became a huge fan. RIP -

Yeah, " Chad Frost" was definitely an HBK stand-in. -
Vince saw Top Dolla fuck up and that was it. " Fine, Paul! Do whatever ya want! I'm SELLING it to a HIGHER POWER! "

Smackdown was fucking great tonight! Who's producing/ " writing" the Bloodline story? It's gotta be Heyman, right? The Roman apology swerve was brilliant and made sense! It's been established that HE brought Sami in because he likes him. Then the popcorn bit had me dying. It also told a story! Sami suddenly has popcorn, offers it to Roman who looks annoyed, but Heyman takes a handful. Next cut Roman has his own bucket because Sami's popcorn smelled good so the Tribal Chief had his own bucket delivered . Then Sami throws popcorn all over Romans dressing room after the Usos win a god damned awesome match against McIntyre and Sheamus. I haven't laughed that hard at anything in wrestling in years. Fucking amazing. -
I mean, isn't that what's going on with Bryan? He's going out and having good matches week in and week out against undercard guys while MJF refuses to wrestle and mocks him.

People need to learn how to work on TV, even if it's TV nobody watches. -
By the time Rey beat Nash nobody cared. The only Rey/ Bash moment anyone remember ms is The Lawn Dart spot into the trailer.

I'll be going to Dynamite tomorrow when AEW returns to Broomfield, CO. My bud and I are taking my nephew. Should be fun. Do we know what the Rampage card is? Dynamite has Joe vs Wardlow, the falls count anywhere six man, Danielson vs Ethan Page, Willow/ Soho vs Anna Jay/ Conti, and Mox/ Claudio vs Top Flight.

See, now that's not a sentence. -

Again, the lack of grammar here is a real issue. A comma behind " Johnny" makes that a legit question about an album I'm not aware of. -

Hey, next time take a second to self edit before posting. Because none of that makes sense. It looks like a Fiona Apple song title. -

SD tonight was pre-taped and clearly a show made for a night where most people aren't sitting around watching TV, unless it's Rudolph, Frosty, or The Year Without A Santa Claus. But it also opened with Sami Zayn spitting fire with the best promo I've seen in years. Seriously, check it out. -
That Elite/ DT match was fucking awful.
-
Top Dolla stinks.
-
That GUNTHER/ Ricochet match was fucking outstanding.

I think crazy old Vince saying he wants to come back is because he's so out of touch he still thinks RAW is the main show and that USA is still a relevant station.

What frustrated me recently with Foley was on his pod about Cornette. They were basically defending Cornette in regards to that joke he told that got him canned from NWA. They completely ignore that it's the fried chicken part of the line that's racist. They don't even mention chicken, and say" hamburgers ".

I recently guested on the podcast The Military Industrial Suplex to discuss the documentary. Tom and I had a lot of fun, check it out if ya got 2 hours.

It's fine for a long drive and JR finding ways to wish death on Johnny Ace a few times.
-
Also, NXT is going to start touring again. So it makes sense to have a well known act like New Day on the cards to bring in more fans.
-
Just my opinion, that New Day/ Ricochet vs. Imperium match smoked all of the Elite/DT matches in the Best if 7 so far.

Someone at DVDVR called Jericho Khan's Iago, thought that was pretty funny.
