Also we are at a weird spot where people are only appearing on about 10% of ballots. To put that in perspective, the lowest amount of ballots someone appeared on in the top 100 is 29% of ballots.

Glad a few mysteries were solved today (Dylan's 95 and Raven's placement).

240 - Karl Gotch 2006 Ranking: honourable mention (144) Points: 351 # of Ballots: 9 Average Vote: 62 High Vote: 20 Low Vote: 100 "There is a quote by Brian Eno I quite like about how every reviewer should post their top 5 contemporary pieces next to the review to give the reader an idea of their taste or whatever. That's kind of how I see my inclusion of Karl Gotch. His lineage is one that produced my favourite wrestling and leaving him off just doesn't feel right, even if what we have of his work is just a very small sampling. I doubt it's something that would convince anyone else but it's enough for me." GOTNW

Jarrett gave them both their best ever matches, and the credit goes to him, not them. Super smart, underrated wrestler. Late career veteran face Jarrett had more great performances than people remember."

But I also have far more nostalgia and sentimentalism for NOAH bubble guys than pretty much anyone else so I'm fine with this as well. Tamon Honda is really great at the wrestling-they called him the god of amateur wrestling in the Samurai TV "where are they now?" video I watched recently. Anyway he took that talent and implented in a worked setting in a really neat fashion, busting out swank holds and suplexes and whatnot. Also him crying MAN TEARS during Kobashi's return match in 2007 is like, really emotional and stuff. I guess." GOTNW

So are we back to thinking he was carried by Rick Rude etc? http://prowrestlingonly.com/index.php?/topic/21083-certifiable-carry-jobs/?p=5565510 One of jdw's more famous beatdowns of jvk. When did Goldberg have any performances along the lines of Warrior vs. Rude or vs. Savage? Didn't he just work squashes to hide his limiations? Like, do you think the average Goldberg squash is better than something like Warrior vs. HTM IC title win? Yes his squashes were better. Goldberg squahes blow away the HTM squash easily. Great matches with Sid, DDP and Ogawa. He had an aura, intensity and all of his matches felt like big time prize fights.

Post prime. Snuka from late 70's till 83-84 was pretty damn great.
-
I think Goldberg is clearly better than Warrior and was actively good.

Does Mando>Eddie easily have the most high votes?

I think some of your rankings are nuts too. Best not to dwell on them.
