  1. Wade on twitter just confirmed that there was talk of firing Titus for this and that is what some people wanted.
  2. I'm good with any system that favours top 3 and even top 10
  3. Actually no. We had a discussion and there is no perfect method. I will get back to you on this answer very soon.
  4. Yes! That is a given.
  5. Tim and I were discussing this and there are several options. 1) Do two podcasts with one going over 100-51 and another going over 50-1, then reveal online 2) Do a general podcast discussion on the results, focus on top 25 and reveal everything online 3) Do a podcast with just reactions and then reveal everything online 4) Something else How do you want your results?
  6. Just heard Wade Keller say that some people wanted the suspension to be more than 90 days. WTF?
  7. How is that an apples to apples comparison? It would be more like an NBA star grabbing his coach just like that and getting suspended. Also does the NBA commissioner have a history like Vince? Really horrible comparison. History like Vince means WHAT? He wrestled Kurt Angle on a plane one time and committed the terrible sin of pushing people in pools? Well as far as I know he never pushed Titus in a pool. Nothing you are trying to reference makes him fair game to be aggressively grabbed for no reason. Especially when it's on camera. Vince waving poopy pants in guys faces? The fact he wrestled and bladed? The fact it is said horse play is encouraged? Also Vince pushed him back just as or more aggressively. Should Vince be suspended too for being unprofessional? Also, way to ignore the fact your comparison was horrible.

  9. Come on is that what you think is happening here? This is not an attack on Vince this is bullshit. Vince's push back of Titus was way more aggressive and unprofessional than the grab that Titus did. Also, I don't watch Raw regularly to give more examples.
  10. I picked up a Torch sub and I got to say I'm pretty happy. The audio is pretty good and varied, but the web design and the fact I can have VIP stuff in my podcast player is a huge plus. Has the WON fixed that audio stuff or do you still have to download the mp3?
  11. The Rock a few weeks ago was way more unprofessional. You honestly believe this small little action deserves missing a WrestleMania pay day?
  12. The only person who knows why he would had done it was Titus, by the way. There WASN'T a reason to do it. That's the whole reason he got suspended. It was stupid and pointless and UNPROFESSIONAL In the WWE and all the stuff that happens he deserves to be suspended for this? How many people are freaking unprofessoinal on camera in the WWE? And wasn't the story for the suspension that they are tired of the unprofessional conduct and wanted to send a message? So... everybody gets away with something and then they decide to just suspend someone for doing something that everybody else does, but it's fair because sending a message is fair? Especially taking away his WrestleMania cheque.

  15. It's not the match, it's the rules of the match that are stupid. Yeah, I am pretty sure War Games is one of the greatest gimmick match concepts of all-time, not the worst. The rules are essentially a way to make a constant southern tag style match, but with a cage. It's a thing of beauty. The match is fine. the rules aren't though. I think they should have went with the first blood approach. The match ends when you get all of your opponents to bleed. Yuck. Really? First blood matches stink and imagine in the 80's how many accidental blood would had happened. You breath on Dusty and he bleeds. How is bleeding better than giving up?
  16. It's not the gospel truth, but which is more believable? Pro Wrestling Sheet is not a random internet report, by the way. PWS is being quoted by Meltzer and is a good reporter.
  17. Hate to be a pain in the ass, but after the re-working of Tim's list it's now missing #11. Was it just left out by mistake or does everything have to slide back down one? Will look into that when I get home tonight.
  18. By the way it wasn't him shoving Vince in a pool or tackling him or anything like that. Titus grabbed at Vince, so that Stephanie could go ahead of him. It was hardly anything noticeable and it only aired on the WWE Network. Any suspension for this is bullshit. Especially considering if it was someone else (Cena, Rock) nothing would had happened.
  19. I think BTC would only work if both guys in the match were competing for the spot. If it's Reigns vs Goldust and only Reigns can win whatever they are trying to win, why is Goldust trying to run out the clock or win that badly? I don't mind it in theory. Again, in theory. I think it was introduced like that - the first time I can think of it happening is in Jan 2005 when they had all of the guys in the Elimination Chamber do BTC to decide who got to come out last. In that case, they all had different opponents, and whoever happened to win their match the fastest, won. Honestly I don't mind that. To me the incentive for the non-guy to win the match is firstly, to stick it to the other guy, but mainly because...it's a match. Why wouldn't you want to win? That's the same reason I hate it when the buzzer goes off and they stop wrestling and go to the back. Why? It's still a match! Why doesn't it count? If you accept the premise that there's no point in trying to win once the time goes, or if you're the other guy, then why do you want to win ANY match on TV that doesn't have tangible stakes involved? One of my biggest peeves with the whole thing is that they don't properly articulate that at the end of the day it's still a match on Raw, and you should still want to win it either way, even if you can't win the BTC challenge. The problem is that once the time goes, the air is let out of the match. But you need the timer there for drama. So...I don't know. If they did the BTC with the six guys int he EC and the fastest time gets to go in last and if anyone lost they would be replaced that would be good. Another reason I hate it is because it's so unfair. They are not all facing the same quality of opponent.
  20. Except that kind of actions is encouraged backstage and expected. Grabbing Vince McMahon is encouraged and expected? What are you basing that assumption on? A story from like 15 years ago of Vince McMahon tackling Kurt Angle on a plane? Vince saying his great joy in life is shoving people in pool's. Bret's book talking about giving Vince the Hart Attack in a bar. Various stories of horse play happening in the WWF all the time! Vince is not like the CEO of a proper business, the dude has peed himself on national television and wrestled matches and such.

  24. Daniel Bryan taking this new test that revealed lesions of the brain that normal tests did not lead to an interesting discussion on the Talking Sheets mid-week Round Table. I would love to continue and flesh that out even more here. With this new test, shouldn't the WWE give that test to everybody who has had some concussions, just to be sure? Even if that risks forcing a lot of the roster to retire? Isn't the heath more important? To go along with that, how far can a wrestling promotion go to protect wrestlers. Should diving headbutts, back bumps, etc.. be banned? Should styles be changed or schedules be changed to avoid major issues like Bryan had or Benoit or Angle had? Another thing brought up was all the praise of particularly dangerous styles like AJPW which killed Misawa. Should that praise still be given or should we realize it's very dangerous still and say it's exciting, but rate it differently. Maybe praise a safer, but still good style? How important should the health of wrestlers be?
