  8. It was counter productive once they each got separate titles.
  9. These two have had insanely long great careers. They keep turning out great matches, no matter how old they get. There can be cases for these two as a number one guy. Who will be higher on your list and why?
  10. JBL is a guy I have always liked from the early Bradshaw days until his great JBL run. He's had some amazing matches with Eddie and Cena. I don't think I can justify putting him on the list, but I am a fan.

  13. I think it's pretty simple. People are excited for the possibility of a brand split, simply because they are sick of the heel authority era.

  15. Today is last day. Thread will be closed when I wake tomorrow
  16. I think Lawler makes top ten, I don't think Bock will.
  17. Line of the night for sure!
  18. Gotta love the elitist attitude. While I don't disagree that the "trying way too hard to be a smart mark" crowd would gravitate to Shane's return to an onscreen role, especially if they choose to believe a tin foil theory that Shane was turfed out of his rightful place in a "hostile takeover" by Paul Levesque* I do think that the response it a lot closer to "HOLY SHIT A CHARACTER WE THOUGHT WE'D NEVER SEE AGAIN IS BACK" more than any kind of belief that Shane McMahon will be an onscreen breath of fresh air alternative to Triple H/Steph/Vince. Hell Vince got the same response until he turned heel following TLC. *Johnny Sorrow (IIRC) noted in a thread that in the footage of Arnold Skoaaland's HOF speech, Arnold's mentioning of Shane being the future of the WWF, that Johnny could sense Shane rolling his eyes at that, probably meaning that Shane never really wanted the behind the scenes booking and likewise jobs that Triple H and Steph craved. I don't know about that. Shane was ready to run ECW by himself with Heyman as his project, until Vince stepped in and took it away. I think that was the end of Shane wanting it.
  19. The 2026 list is sure going to be interesting.
  20. I fixed the file, because I somehow had a copy of the ad break at the beginning. All good now. I'm curious what people think about the ROH/PWG talk.
  21. Ultimo Dragon is going to have a rough time too.
  22. TNA will never die. Something will happen to save their asses.
  23. Very excited for this. Going to give it the two week trial and decide if it fits in with my other streaming services or if it knocks one out or if it gets dropped.
  24. http://placetobenation.com/pro-wrestling-super-show-60-2015-awards-wrestling-talk/ Steven & Tim are back on the Super Show (aka the Sasha Banks Show) to go over the results of the Pro-Wrestling Super Show Awards for 2015. It’s followed by a discussion on current AJ Styles and Sasha Banks before the break. After the break they blow through a bunch of modern topics. This includes: Shane McMahon’s return, the political hit on Roman Reigns, the Global Cruiserweight Tournament, and a very animated Steven discussing current ROH and PWG business models. Go to prowrestlingonly.com or the PWO-PTBN facebook page to discuss the show and let us know who you want us to handle Greatest Wrestler Ever talk next show.
