By the way it wasn't him shoving Vince in a pool or tackling him or anything like that. Titus grabbed at Vince, so that Stephanie could go ahead of him. It was hardly anything noticeable and it only aired on the WWE Network. Any suspension for this is bullshit. Especially considering if it was someone else (Cena, Rock) nothing would had happened.

I think BTC would only work if both guys in the match were competing for the spot. If it's Reigns vs Goldust and only Reigns can win whatever they are trying to win, why is Goldust trying to run out the clock or win that badly? I don't mind it in theory. Again, in theory. I think it was introduced like that - the first time I can think of it happening is in Jan 2005 when they had all of the guys in the Elimination Chamber do BTC to decide who got to come out last. In that case, they all had different opponents, and whoever happened to win their match the fastest, won. Honestly I don't mind that. To me the incentive for the non-guy to win the match is firstly, to stick it to the other guy, but mainly because...it's a match. Why wouldn't you want to win? That's the same reason I hate it when the buzzer goes off and they stop wrestling and go to the back. Why? It's still a match! Why doesn't it count? If you accept the premise that there's no point in trying to win once the time goes, or if you're the other guy, then why do you want to win ANY match on TV that doesn't have tangible stakes involved? One of my biggest peeves with the whole thing is that they don't properly articulate that at the end of the day it's still a match on Raw, and you should still want to win it either way, even if you can't win the BTC challenge. The problem is that once the time goes, the air is let out of the match. But you need the timer there for drama. So...I don't know. If they did the BTC with the six guys int he EC and the fastest time gets to go in last and if anyone lost they would be replaced that would be good. Another reason I hate it is because it's so unfair. They are not all facing the same quality of opponent.

Except that kind of actions is encouraged backstage and expected. Grabbing Vince McMahon is encouraged and expected? What are you basing that assumption on? A story from like 15 years ago of Vince McMahon tackling Kurt Angle on a plane? Vince saying his great joy in life is shoving people in pool's. Bret's book talking about giving Vince the Hart Attack in a bar. Various stories of horse play happening in the WWF all the time! Vince is not like the CEO of a proper business, the dude has peed himself on national television and wrestled matches and such.

It's not the match, it's the rules of the match that are stupid. Yeah, I am pretty sure War Games is one of the greatest gimmick match concepts of all-time, not the worst. The rules are essentially a way to make a constant southern tag style match, but with a cage. It's a thing of beauty.

Daniel Bryan taking this new test that revealed lesions of the brain that normal tests did not lead to an interesting discussion on the Talking Sheets mid-week Round Table. I would love to continue and flesh that out even more here. With this new test, shouldn't the WWE give that test to everybody who has had some concussions, just to be sure? Even if that risks forcing a lot of the roster to retire? Isn't the heath more important? To go along with that, how far can a wrestling promotion go to protect wrestlers. Should diving headbutts, back bumps, etc.. be banned? Should styles be changed or schedules be changed to avoid major issues like Bryan had or Benoit or Angle had? Another thing brought up was all the praise of particularly dangerous styles like AJPW which killed Misawa. Should that praise still be given or should we realize it's very dangerous still and say it's exciting, but rate it differently. Maybe praise a safer, but still good style? How important should the health of wrestlers be?

Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that Titus said he was just being playful with Vince to make sure Stephanie walked out first. Chivalry got him suspended.

I was wondering what people are watching, so what promotions do you follow currently? Also, to what degree do you follow them? 1) WWE Watch special events and well hyped moments on Raw, will watch Raw if they get consistent praise. 2) NXT All TV and special events. 3) Progress All Chapter specials at the least, might start the other shows they do. 4) CMLL Interesting looking and hyped matches. 5) EVOLVE Select shows live and well regarded shows on demand. 6) Everything else MOTY candidates or shows that get a LOT of praise.

https://audioboom.com/boos/4171064-the-bret-hart-vs-steve-austin-feud Jason Mann and Steven Graham from the Pro-Wrestling Super Show talk about the Bret Hart vs. Steve Austin feud from 1996 and 1997, specifically their Survivor Series 1996, WrestleMania 13, and In Your House: Revenge of the Taker singles matches. They discuss why Austin and Hart worked so well together, how Canadians saw the feud as opposed to Americans, and much more.
-
The question I posed on Wrestlespective is what would had happened to Austin if Bret didn't return or work with him. Who else would had put Austin at his level? Shawn wouldn't had made him. Taker, maybe? Would Austin had become the star he became without the help of the Austin feud?

What makes this even worse, as Wade Keller pointed out, Vince has bragged about how much joy he gets in pushing people into pools when they don't expect it. Bullshit hypocritical behavior.

On ESPN he didn't think they were linked until this new test. -
Yeah, that one suspends too much disbelief.
-
Vince Russo stuff. Reverse Battle Royal is just criminally awful and the stupidest match in history, maybe.
-
Wade Keller said it could had been the best segment in the history of Raw, but it's unfair to compare this as it was an emotional real moment.
-
He's billed as an all-time great by the WWE. People point to a good run in 2000. He's had more opportunities to have big time matches than almost everyone. Is he making it for you?

Meltzer said he asked for release, but was denied. -
Doesn't effect me in any way because I wasn't voting on potential, but it does strike me in a finality way that I can look back on his fifteen year career now comparatively to his contemporaries like AJ and Hero who hypothetically have more to give int he wrestling arena. Voting for people working in their prime was going to be a struggle for me. His retirement may help his standing on this ballot.

Yeah, that was too definitive and too much of a troll. It depends how you define a draw, but if someone wants to compare the two in drawing I think it would be very close and I could see Colon winning. For example the Anniversary Shows had bigger crowds than MSG. Not to mention those stadium shows. I would love for someone to do this comparison.
