  1. At that point they were not offering him enough money or had a TNA contract.
  2. He was too small then.
  3. Nakamura vs Undertaker at Mania. Book it now!
  4. I've been trying to think of an Undertaker match I would like to see at Mania and I think it needs to be a tag of some sort. It would be easier to mix him up with some younger guys who may need the rub more. Plus you can hide him easier. Something like Dean Ambrose & Undertaker versus ???
  5. I love that NXT which has become my favourite promotion, has signed the two best parts of NJPW. Nakamura and Styles taking on folks like Balor, Zayn and Joe is just has tremendous potential.
  6. It seems possible there could be a Bullet Club attack on Balor for bailing on them to go the WWE.
  7. I really hate the idea that Roman has to defend the title in the Rumble. He just won the thing and now he will either lose it quickly in a way that's completely unfair or beat 29 other guys. What ever happened to giving the babyface the title and riding it out. Diesel got more of a chance as the top guy than this.
  8. #wrestling365 Smark Mark Video conveniently put this up on youtube today. Sunny does Candido's intro and Smothers says he doesn't want to babyface himself, but it's great to be in Charleston. Brings up the old SMW feud, but wants a great athletic contest today. Another awesome touch is someone in the audience yelling welcome back to Candido, who replies with "I've never been here before". They have a pretty fun match here. Smothers weird strikes always give me joy. Candido was doing well with a plancha too. Very old school with spots like Candido claiming his hair was pulled and stuff. It all comes down Sunny and powder and a miscue.

  10. This? http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x297m0h_brock-lesnar-vs-shinsuke-nakamura-njpw-tokyo-dome-01-04-2006_sport 2006 versions of those guys are not 2016 versions of those guys.
  11. NAKAMURA VS BROCK LESNAR!!!!!!!!!! HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. #wrestling365 What a really fun war this was. Of course there was the German Suplex, but these two battled! Vader was the monster and Inoki was the legend and it was played up perfect. Especially perfect since Vader was going to the WWF. Really loved this. ****

  14. #wrestling365 taped on January 3rd, 1990. This brings back some memories. SNME was my favourite thing as a kid, because my dad would tape it and I could watch it the next morning. Unlike ppv which I had to wait till the video store got and the TV never had real matches. I was HUGE into wrestling at this point, maybe the biggest of my childhood, so I really remember these shows. This was unfathomable at the time. Hogan and Warrior teaming was crazy. Perfect and Genius seemed like such a mismatch. The match is so fun. Perfect is a pinball, while The Genius is writing poetry in the corner. They get Hogan to the outside and then use the scroll for some poetry in motion to send Hogan into a FIP. We are pretty far into the match and it's all Hogan and Perfect. Perfect Plex and Perfect lets him up, tags Genius who misses a moonsault which leads to the hot tag. Destruction, Hogan with a sneak tag to pin with the leg drop. Really fun and it has the angle to set up Warrior-Hogan afterwards. Big trip down memory lane here.

You not be voted on unless you are nominated.
  16. #wrestling365 This was taped January 2, 1990. The finish to this was a lot of fun. Everything has really been said before, but I am glad I watched this. Great Muta feels like someone who should had been bigger in WCW>
  17. hmmm... just on this forum? He's pretty under rated everywhere.

I did pick up the Buddy Rose and SMW sets. The idea being to fairly rate Buddy Rose and to justify getting Tracy Smothers and The Heavenly Bodies onto my final battles. Maybe even Dirty White Boy too. Outside of that, wrestling watching will focus on wrestling365 and I hope to correspond that with watching guys I need to see. I also hope to get some more Making the Case podcasts out and I think Will will be doing some himself. As for the Super Show, there will be the top 100 matches ever lists which helped for this project and I hope March's show will be something GWE focused. Whatever Tim and I need to get over the final hump. As for the results, planning to release them on the Super Show podcast and then do a big thread ala WKO 100.

As stated in the original rules, nominations are due March 1st and the ballot is due at WrestleMania 32. That leaves two months to get in any last minute nominations and 3 months to finish off your ballot. What is everyone's game plan going into the home stretch? Any other areas that people feel need to be discussed? Finishing line thoughts? If anybody knows how to set up a webpage for voting where people are forced to pick from a list to make their top 100, let me know.
  20. #wrestling365 These two start really quick going after each other strikes, just trading knees and forearms and slaps. It settles away from a NJPW mid match sequence into a pretty good rough and tumble match. Callihan's dive is not pretty but looks pretty bad ass. Everything in this is really laid in. That whole segment on the floor just felt like a fight in a really good way. The chops, damn. Kyle's offense got a little silly (rolling butterfly suplexes?), but Callihankept everything looking great. O'Relly has really improved and took out some of the silly crap. The ending stretch was pretty decent in an MMA way. Overall this was stiff and pretty well grounded. Good match and a good way to start the #wrestling365 project in 2016. I'd give it like *** 1/2
  21. Wrestling365 is really the only thing I want to resolve to keep up with.
  22. Sean Waltman?? He debuted in late 89 and was having great matches in 90/91. Complete natural.
  23. Lower ranked wrestlers are important for sure. In fact some of them will be my favourite guys who don't follow into greatest category. I love me some Sean Waltman, Big Bossman, Earthquake. Tajiri and Don Muraco. All will be on my list.

    NXT talk

The fact anybody can think it's difficult to book an underdog babyface says a lot of bad things about the WWE. Bayley should be the easiest person to book in the WWE. Giver her challenges, let her struggle to finally overcome them.
