WWE is trying to present itself as a worldwide organization. Running territorial gimmicks that were aimed at a regional audience just further points out their hypocrisy. And there's nothing novel about the act either, especially for someone who's not from the US like myself. Pretty much everyone I know has cut at least several Lana-esque promos about how stupid americans are, which kind of diminishes her success. I don't know, it seems like every country is pretty against Russia right now. Heck, Canada has laid sanction after sanction on them. Imagine how over Rusev would be in Ukraine? Anyway, the thing that seems to be missed here is that being pro Russia is not all Rusev is about. He is a bad ass dude who throws everyone around and kicks them in the face and makes them submit. The only person who can beat him was Cena and Rusev has beat him in the past. Russia is the starting point with Rusev, not the whole point.

You do realize there is about 6 administrators too, it's not just Charles and Will? We all discussed this and sent in our feedback. Also, can some please tell me the appeal of leaving one off comments with no response on a discussion board? What is the purpose? If you aren't here to discuss wrestling, but are just here to make one off comments and read those then we have completely different views of what a discussion board should be. EDIT: The too many topics being discussed thing seems ridiculous, because they are all maintained on the front page. If there was so many topics that the discussion sections went through a couple of pages, I could see everyone's point.

Not what they will do, but what I would love to see. Rusev defends WWE Title against Brock Lesnar 3-Way Ladder #1 Contenders Match between Rollins, Reigns & Ambrose Undertaker's retirement match against Luke Harper IC & US Title Unifcation match Cena vs Bryan Then just add Cesaro, Zayn and Titus into respectable matches and I am sold.

How is a Russian heel outdated???????

I like the idea that repetitive actions is boring and a bad thing, when that is the stuff that gets over. When you have built that stuff up over time and then you change things up a bit it gets even more over.

What is a one liner or thought about wrestling that you can't spin into a discussion, if not what is the point of posting it on a discussion thread. Anything you can think about relates to a broader topic.

What is your favourite or the most bizarre you can find?

See the issue is that post had no responses, while you could had started a thread about kayfabe brother teams and had an interesting discussion. The mega threads lead to a stifling of conversation or great discussions being buried and missed due to so many any other posts.

I agree that Extreme Rules just being a better version of WrestleMania is annoying, however doing three stright ppvs is not a bad thing. Vince Sr. used to book MSG title programs one way. 3 straight matches at the Garden. It worked wonderfully then and still could work today.

As long as you don't shut these types of threads down once they (inevitably, IMO) veer off into a bunch of different directions or start getting multiple replies to posts that may be worthy of their own thread just like the comments megathread did, it's got a good chance of working. We'll still lose some of the randomness that made PWO so much fun and unique compared to other boards, but hopefully we'll retain a good portion of it. I guess it's up to us board members who enjoyed all the neat things in the comments megathread to now bring as much of that type of thing out into the regular board if we want to keep that vibe going. Challenge accepted! I don't understand the point of the post that doesn't deserve a response? Isn't that what twitter is for?

If I remember correctly 1/1/96 was a year in review show or something and they just aired a ppv match from 95.

You legit think Lance Storm was as over as Rusev is?

The only guy who has gotten over as a heel. He has been wrestling for five years and only doing long matches for a year. In that time he has had great matches with everybody and seems to get better every match. He does every small thing great and is tremendously charismatic and great on the mic. Bray Wyatt had a similar run into a match with Cena at Mania and look how more important the Rusev match felt compared to the Wyatt match.

Orton, yes. However, you need someone as a top heel. Rusev is the best candidate, so screw everyone else.Best as in "better than Luke Harper?". Yeah, no. Luke Harper is great and can be a great guy near the top of the card, but Rusev has proved he has something really special.

I want to pile on in the Goldberg thing. They shouldn't had even been thinking about beating Goldberg yet. He was still HOT! What the heck was the rush? Also, there was a million opponents he could face at the time. With everyone from a DDP rematch, Sting, Bigelow, Scott Steiner, Hogan rematch, Bret Hart, etc... This was such a HUGE blunder and the best case for horrible politics ruining the box office of wrestling.

Rusev can crush Bryan, Ambrose, Orton, Rollins, Ziggler, Rowan, Triple H, Sting, etc... and it will be fine, because you need to make someone. Actually, Sting would be a great opponent.

Why can't Rusev just beat everyone else on route to taking the title and facing a babyface Lesnar at next year's Mania for the title? I'd even take a Brock match at the Rumble and Reigns at Mania.

The problem is every page has a 3 page discussion on a single post. It has become a giant mess to follow any topic in there.

Why not make a thread discussing song lyrics that should be used as wrestling catch phrases?

In the discussion I brought up that you should make a thread and then if it receives no comments after a bit, then it gets moved into a mega thread.

What am I missing???? Kalisto involved in the tag, Neville video package. Boo I thought they were bringing in some people to feud with Torito.
