    This is one of Liz's better acting jobs as she pleads with Tunney for Savage's reinstatement. I love the interaction between Piper and Randy.

    I probably like this a tad less than the rest but it was still very good and played up to Sting's strengths. Cactus beat up on him for the majority of the match and created a ton of sympathy for him. Then when he makes his comeback, Cactus takes those crazy bumps that were built to and sold for this time which was satisfying leading into the finish. This made Sting look like a star and Cactus look like he belonged with the top guys.

    Great trios match. Satanico can make anything interesting and is opening matwork was inspiring. I thought everyone here looked really fresh and it was the perfect mixture of comedy, wrestling, strikes, and dives. The finish to the first fall with the triple sunset flip was amazing and topped by the leaning tower of Infernales to end the second fall. The final fall felt really dramatic and featured great selling on the submission moves and an insane dive by porky. Awesome Brazo's trios.

    Pretty heavy schtick match but a fun one at that. There were a couple of instances in the butt spot where the execution was way off but I sort of knew what the match was all about at that point so I went along with it. Nothing consequential but a good breather between a very serious wrestling disc so far.

    I like how this set up the feuds of Kobashi vs. Kawada/Misawa to come. They showed a lot of fire here and mixed in some interesting stuff like the crab Kikuchi puts on Kawada. The huge moonsault to the knees that Kobashi takes and their double team moves trying to hang on. Greatly enjoyable match.

    Feels kind of like both Steiners have shit in the bed in championship Clash matches now. Harley loves taking bumps even in the management role. What the hell is Scott wearing btw. Luger picks up the victory by using the belt and feels pretty aimless as champion at this point.

    Great gloating promo by Paul E. Him and Rude put over the win huge and feel like the big main act in WCW. I agree with Peter that both Tony and JR are in their peak right here as commentators.

    This pre-crow sting may be the best he ever looks as a babyface. He looks really heroic here in defeat and had the crowd really behind him. Rude plays his role excellent as well as the ultimate opportunist.

    Paul E is a good manager and has reviewed the contract knowing that Sting will have to give up the US title. Bischoff breaks the news that Sting is driving the ambulance.

    If asked to close my eyes and think about US tag team wrestling, this match pops immediately in my mind. So much classic stuff like Steamboat's return, the Enforcers freak out, all the short cuts they take through the match, Steamboat showing more fire and viciousness than usual, and then a great hot finish that had the crowd go rabid. Perfect stuff for the time allotted. I could watch this match on a loop and be happy.

    WCW production at its finest with Bischoff on location giving an update on Stings condition.

    Sting is easily swayed as Warrior was able to resist Sherri at the RUmble but Sting gives into temptation here. The attack by Luger is pretty good and sets up the show long angle.

    I think the Clash and Starrcade concepts should have been reversed with Luger getting a better challenger instead of Rick Steiner. I have always like the idea of Battlebowl, just not the execution.

    Macho is campaigning for his reinstatement now. He gives a good Macho promo laying out his case and thanking the fans for their support.

    Sting looks like a perverted 13 year old boy in this promo. Something I can't get into at all and Madusa's promo is really bad.

    This feels like a big match to give away on a Clash and Paul E does a good job justifiable hyping his transgressions.

    Arn putting Barry on blast was amusing and I think Dustin is being a little unreasonable thinking Barry would be able to go at the clash. This is a good fired up promo from Dustin that had the crowd going.

    I loved this right until Gravedigger started talking. no idea who is playing this gimmick.

    Disturbing promo from Nate. Tough to really take him serious with all the rats and nonsense going on. I am ready for the Moondogs to come in.

    SOA cleans trash in his wrestling uniform. Embrys laugh is quite awesome and fits how ridiculous this is. SOA states that is the type of trash he wants to clean up around here.

    Iconic scene with a big collection of talent all around and Piper maybe being the least recognizable which is odd. The promos Flair/HOgan cut on each other were really well done and Taker breaks Hogans cross necklace to set up Survivor Series.

    Thankfully it seems like these are over as Slaughter has his country back which he decides to announce to a group of kids.

    Glad we get the cage match conclusion to this series even though the heat was lackluster and the action at time felt a step back from the two matches. I question the decision to have Zenk as FIP and the finish with Dustin giving a dropkick was anticlimatic. Still glad we saw this whole mid card feud.

    This match ruled. Perfect length and pace. Hansen started off as a complete bad ass attacking Misawa and then going into a slap exchange with Kawada. They work him over and SPivey holds his on. Misawa comes firing back on all cylinders and the crowd is losing it. His victory feels really well earned and a big victory for him. Super stuff.

    I like all involved but couldnt get into this one at all as it seemed aimless for most of the time and did indeed have a lot of slop like others have mentioned. Really disappointing and long. This disc overall has been an enigma of good to great matches that come out of nowhere and then backed up with disappointing stuff.
