These guys did not look like they liked each other and were not cooperating fully. Post match looked like a brawl might erupt. Seemed more heated and legit hatred than most stuff in UFC.

This got pretty grim over the course of twenty minutes. A brutal, intense fight that used the chain magnificently. Agree with Kevin that again this is another company that has had a significantly better and more violent brawl than what we have seen in ECW so far.

The match was nothing but I did like the post match peeling off into the different angles with 911/Mr. Hughes, Douglas/Sabu, and PE/Funks. This did a good job hyping up heatwave and for once, Styles didn’t seem ridiculous how out of control everything was. -
Did not like this at all. Sandman is sloppy and to me instead of making Mikey into a lovable underdog, he is made into someone that is always in the right place at the right time. I have always liked underdog angles better where the person is in over their head, but still is able to overcome the odds. The Cairo/Sandman feud continues to not have my interest whatsoever.

1994 continues to have more ripped from the headlines comments than any other year I can think of. Paul E gives anothher good hype promo and he really added to the aura of ECW.

No casual attire at Dibiase headquarters. I actually liked Dibiases lingo about how the Luger deal was as good as done. THe main problem I have with this whole thing is that Dibiase seems too much like mustache twirling heel without any rhyme or reason why he is acquriing these guys besides proving that everybody had a price for the million dollar man.

Bret really does face vs. face matchups well and this was no exception. It is a shame that the crowd didn't bite on any of Kid's nearfalls because they were paced exceptionally well and everything else about this match is a classic. Clear advantages for both guys were mapped out and they exceeded when sticking to those and failed when deviating. Another great TV match and really feels like one of Bret’s signature title defenses for what is his longest run with the belt.

Good match that bordered on great at some instances and meandered in other. I enjoyed the limb work in this match but I wish more fire was shown. I will reserve my judgement of the SUmmerslam match until I watch but I am worried at the more cartoonish angle Owen is going in this feud. They should have spaced in a couple of more falls in the first 30 minutes and I think this would have flowed a lot better. Something I am glad I have seen but don't know if I will ever need to see again.

Short match and the Sherri interaction was stupid and doesn't make Flair look strong at all.

Actually a good promo but after having some relevant and fresh celebrities we get Mr. T looking outdated as all hell.

Thrillseekers were not ready for this big push and Jericho looks naked sitting at the table. Cornette does his damnedest to get me invested and cuts another inspired promo.

All of this was awesome. Cornette can pitch a great fit and Wright dressed to the nines got the best reactions out of me.

This was ok and I liked Rich's promo. Not as high on Dream Machine here.

Really fun six man tag. Hase showed real good fire here going toe to toe with Fujiwara. Triple submission was a neat moment.

I didn;t like the dome match much at all and this was worse. I just don't see any structure or story between these matches and it just looks like a power move spotfest.

This was my favorite junior match of the year. They immediately show that his will be different from the J Cup match with Sasuke jumping Liger and killing him for the first portion of the match. The mat work mixed in with Liger flashes of comebacks getting grounded by another gorgeous flying spot by Sasuke was clever. The ending built well and we didn't have a ton of useless nearfalls and it ended in an appropriate big move. Great match.

Pretty fun match but I was expecting a little more with such a long arena clip. I have always hated Maclin's commentary and this is no exception.

I didn't realize how prominent the kings court segment was. Lawler has some good digs at Kid but he really looked really lost talking out there. Good to see at least some build to a TV match.

This was the first promo where I was on board with Flair losing some wind from his sails as this felt like a stock promo and he didn't have too much to say.

It is a shame that these segments are so bad because the sports celebrity involvement at this time was pretty good. I like the rights to grilling machine idea that Kevin floated around. I guess Hulk got Pastamania as a consolation prize.

Match was only two minutes long but Hamrick was still bumping around. Lee/Candido/Tammy getting some revenge on Ricky seemed justified based on what we have seen.

Cactus is trying to put over ECW but it was clear that his matches in WCW were some career highlights at this point. They made the match sound much more epic and violent then it really was.

Owen steps back up to Bret's main focus here with a good promo. I can't decide if the King gear owen wears is awesome or goofy.

I do always love Flair in these business settings because he acts like the most cockiest prick you have ever dealt with in doing these. This did a good job making the match seem very important. While watching this I guess I realized that this match felt like the biggest built match of the year for the big two even more so than Owen/Bret and Taker/Taker.

Terry asking how many Armstrong kids there really were got a pop out of me. Good promo and I like SMW Terry much better than ECW Terry.
