  1. Love the Rock but I hated how he ended his matches with the People's Elbow instead of the Rock Bottom during the peak years. Always drove me nuts.
  2. 3. I think Ryback wiping out Show at Mania to win the WHC is the way they are going. Dolph will cash in at some point after that and screw over Ryback. Brock/Taker takes care of the Who Taker Should Face problem but with Trips in the way, it won't happen...maybe they should do a three way to get them all in there. Who does that leave to face Punk?
  4. Kevin Kelly is joining us again tonight for an open forum chat...anyone have any ROH questions for him?
  5. Once Cesaro won, I knew Barrett would job...I don't think they want both midcard belts on heels. Agreed though...Barrett needs to start winning.
  6. Agreed. They could have a good Lita/Edge circa 2006 vibe for sure.
  7. Would take balls but this company has none. They could make Dolph a star tonight...cash in halfway through, beat Sheamus...Vince forces Dolph to still face Cena in the main event with the belt on the line now and Dolph beats him. As you said, they don't have the balls, but man would be damn good if they did.
  8. Any chance they have Dolph cash in before he faces Cena to screw JC out of the crack at the briefcase? Would be way out of left field, but would make Dolph look strong if he wins the title and screws over Cena in one swoop.
  9. In this new episode of the PTB Podcast Vintage Vault, the PICs get into the holiday spirit with the Christmas Headlines Spectacular. They talk about the current state of WWE, preview TLC, read the news and then delve into some special Christmas presents and treats for the Nation. They then wrap up by going around the NFL and previewing Week 15 with Kyle Forchetti. Finally, to close out the show, they reveal which wrestling legend they will be interviewing in January. 12. Also, we have two really cool interviews lined up for early 2013 and a possible third on the way...
  13. Thanks for checking them out... - Bruno was fantastic...so open and laid back and yes, his stories were great...he really enjoyed being on, which was a trip for us - Agreed on KK...goldmine of info on the Attitude Era, but yes some...interesting takes on women in wrestling.... - He definitely did...some felt he came off a little arrogant about his abilities in general, but he didn't come off that way in dealing with him...he stayed on the line for almost 45 minutes after the interview just bullshitting...and yes, very well adjusted and realistic...glad to see him doing so well with his non wrestling gigs - That was Scott...he gets quite heated...I take sole pleasure in tweaking him on it Again, thank you for posting feedback...always welcome
  14. Kevin Kelly talked about it a bit with us off air...he pretty just said Jim is burnt out in general and really needs a break for a while. Nothing too juicy from him but figured I would share.

Kevin also tells a classic Vince McMahon story, discusses some of his favorite wrestlers and angles of all time, confirms and/or denies some urban myths and talks a little Ring of Honor as well. 17. Thanks for listening...glad you have been enjoying it!
  18. Strangely, one of my favourite shows. Besides Taka-Pantera and the Main Event being awesome, you also have a Bradshaw-Jarrett singles match that I remember really liking. Yeah it is one of those shows that is kind of meaningless long term, but fun to watch. To me it is the final show of that bridge era before Attitude fully kicked in. Almost one last piece of the post "New Generation" bridge run that dies in Boston in March.
  19. Just posted our No Way Out 1998 Vintage Vault... http://placetobe.podbean.com/2012/11/19/ep...o-way-out-1998/
  20. Got mine as well...we are way the heck up in 322, but will be cool to be there for sure.
  21. Thank you! I recommend ALL the shows! 23. Maybe when we get to 1999 year in review I will bust it out on him. I did make sure to bust him up about the "explosions" line during the Pillman gun angle again.
  24. Hey fellas, we just caught back up with Kevin Kelly and he went through the year of 1997 in the WWF with us. Check it out!
