  1. Taken two rounds ago.
  2. He was in the running for my next pick as well. Almost chose him over Rogers but I figured Rogers would've been grabbed soon if I didn't get him at the moment.
  3. Thanks for doing this. Overlooked Kerry Von Erich in WCCW.
  4. Yeah and when we reach 1996, his son may be tempted to follow daddy up north.
  5. Good point. Looks like they didn't start teaming until September. Whatever you guys want...
  6. Frankly, with him passing recently I was shocked I was able to grab him. He is basically filling the slot Dynamite or Davey would have had if they had lasted longer. Koko was my backup. There are three guys I'm looking to fill my next slot and I hope at least one sticks around for the next round.
  7. Listened to the first half while jogging. Exercising has never been easier, time flies super quick listening to you guys. Exile is also good for that, and both podcasts are godsends for the summer. The draft was perfect timing considering what's going on in the Armchair Booking forum at the moment. Too late to influence any picks, but fascinating. I love how you two play off each other because JT and I share very similar tastes and background and Will is the grizzled fan who's seen it all. I love Naylor, but this is almost an upgrade of the old Good Will podcasts because JT can play the straight man while Will adds the color. Love this show.
  8. Jim Crockett Promotions selects... Tommy Rogers dedhemingway is up.
  9. Koko was also my backup if my next pick is taken. Obviously if Brian takes him I will flip.
  10. Yes, I can't imagine someone will see themselves on the clock and then go for a long walk instead of picking. It's life, nothing can be perfect, we are all doing our best. I actually am going for a long walk and I hope when I get back in an hour that it's just about my turn considering everyone ahead of me is either present or was around just a bit ago.
  11. Yeah, plus not official until he puts it in here.
  12. And let's just assume everyone is picking as fast as humanly possible.
  13. Or Patterson and Rocky Johnson? He said he thought his idea was similar but different to JVK's.
  14. This is more fun if you imagine Joe Blanchard getting upset at Don Owen for stalling and trying to get Paul Jones on the phone for clarification of draft rules while Jack Tunney tries to mediate.
  15. I haven't started to even plan anything at all regarding my roster yet because of how fluid everything has to be. I'm filling slots (Flair is my keystone, Hayes the rebel to challenge the franchise, Gordy his giant compadre, Shultz the intense wild card, and Sheik the amateur grappler), but how they interact with one another and how I want to begin won't be decided until I have at least ten guys.
  16. I think it has to be reasonable in the sense that the two had a fairly long tenure as a past team. Otherwise you risk letting people pair wrestlers up that may have teamed for a few months, and may have been drafted earlier as a team if everyone knew that was allowed.
  17. Past teams I'm OK with. Future teams, no. Curious to see the idea regardless.
  18. For injuries I'd say every months roll an actual die so we get something between 1-6. Whatever number it is, that's how many people suffer injuries in that month. And then use the random number generator for wrestler and seriousness of injury. Something like that.

  20. It's all random.
  21. Yeah, and I'm pro-random occurrences in contrast to just following real-life stuff. But I don't want anyone to quit over it so I don't care whatever we do.
  22. I assume dedhemingway knows perfectly well David dies in 8 months. And yeah, just don't draft Wizard then.
  23. I'm fine either way, and it'd be a real shame if anyone dropped out after all this build up because of the death rule going one way or the other.
