It's funny because when he first debuted and he was in there with someone like Road Dog you could see how much better he was athletically than him but the matches were wishy washy because he struggled with the WWE bumping and selling style. And of course there is the famous story of them programming with Kane so he could learn how to work their style

I'm wondering if they knew he was going to stay this over and the crowd turning reactions would they go back and change the finish to HIAC if they could?

to be completely honest I wasn't annoyed at all by the story during all the beatdowns and insults in August and September. It was him not going over at HIAC that righteously pissed me off. Remember it was reported at the time that the company felt Bryan was elevated by the program but there were no plans for him in the title picture for the rest of the year (which turned out to be completely correct) With the plans for Mania it was obvious he wasn't penciled in for a big match. So he was never scheduled to get revenge on the authority. They never thought he would remain this over and probably saw him as Rey type that was over and would occasionally slide into a main event once in a while. The loss at HIAC was their way of illustrating that

It's also frustrating because Bryan usually doesn't have a scathing burn to counter the insults. He usually just smirks it off. I can remember him implying that Stephanie was a bitch last summer but not much else. There is so much material for him to use on Hunter and Steph and none of it has been used. Maybe they were saving that stuff for Punk

Mike Johnson had reported they had changed their mind and Bryan was going to get the title at the EC and then it would be triple threat with Batista and Orton at Mania. Not happening now. I'm just freaked out he's never going to get that belt. I don't think him v Hunter will be for the belt. No way. and trying to decipher Meltz in a post at cageside, he seems to be implying that Punk might never come back. Everyone in wrestling comes back but Punk has saved his money and thinks he doesn't need them.

Mentioned in the WWE and Meltz threads but I thought I'd start a separate one. He's been written off future storylines,including mania. Fuck him this is going to cost Bryan the belt now. (Bryan V HHH is now on for mania). That's all I care about now. I'm going to have to enter psychoanalysis over this shit

I'm going to go on a tangent about Stephanie here. She's a McMahon yes, and again I may be naive, but she seems to have a heart and dare I say might be a slight sympathetic figure. I mean on Twitter she makes sure to say she's just playing a character and is constantly giving RTs to fans and basically acts like your basic lovey dovey mom who wants to attack every child with affection. Obviously this is a big part PR with her new gig and the WWE moms stuff. But I was reminded of something Loss said years ago during the congressional hearings that she is starved for attention and clearly loves being in the limelight. Dave hinted during her first run that she loved the attention she got and that's why she was on TV so much (that plus Vince loving her character). Plus something tells me she has some self esteem hang ups from hanging around all these hot women all these years. I don't know I don't think she is as bad as people think. I'm probably way off but I think there might be something to this and maybe this has a lot to do with her not "showing ass" to the faces during this run. Talking down to them, etc. She's obviously wrong there though

Again if he doesn't get the title at Extreme Rules there is no hope. At that point it will be 9 freaking months of this stuff He's not getting a title shot at Mania. He will work underneath against Sheamus. This is all building to Extreme Rules clearly

we are all going to be pissed again when Bryan doesn''t win the title at EC. I'm not sure how much more of this I can take. If he doesn't win it at Extreme Rules I might finally tap out. (and that takes a whole lot of shit for me to stop watching) That said that was a pretty decent RAW
