Loss Posted January 2, 2011 Author Report Posted January 2, 2011 Well-booked feud for the ECW audience but not my thing. That said, they do a good job of putting over the brutality of the match with the post-match stretcher job.
Kronos Posted April 6, 2011 Report Posted April 6, 2011 I can only take so much RVD, and tonight I apparently can't take any. Skipping this match - pretty sure I've seen it before, anyway.
PeteF3 Posted February 18, 2015 Report Posted February 18, 2015 I'd put this as the best of the series so far. They managed not to completely fuck things up when the rope broke early in the bout, despite a few awkward moments, and I didn't notice any severely blown spots (Sabu crotching himself on the rope seemed awfully intentional, considering RVD was almost immediately there to hit him with a springboard kick).
soup23 Posted May 27, 2015 Report Posted May 27, 2015 Good for them continuing with the ropes in the shape they were in but man are these matches hard for me to watch. This may have been the best of the series but that isn't saying much at all. **1/4
tim Posted November 12, 2017 Report Posted November 12, 2017 I liked this a good bit. When it comes to spotfests I prefer it sloppy rather than overly-produced and phony looking like you have in WWE gimmick matches or weapons brawls. Definitely the best of their matches so far and had some pretty nice spots, especially Sabu's dive onto RVD while crotched on the barricade.
