Loss Posted March 11, 2011 Author Report Posted March 11, 2011 Highlights of a match from Mid South Coliseum. Brian Christopher's manager is some guy named Zeke Rivers (Did I get that right??). Lots of run-ins here secure the win for Christopher to give him the Southern title. Quote
benj Posted March 12, 2011 Report Posted March 12, 2011 Highlights of a match, did nothing for me really. Quote
Matt Franklin Posted October 2, 2011 Report Posted October 2, 2011 Run-ins galore in this short selection of clips. Looked fun for what it was, with a couple of nice near falls before the finish. Brian Christopher looks really small here, he obviously worked out a lot before he made it to WWF Quote
PeteF3 Posted October 22, 2013 Report Posted October 22, 2013 This was part of a rather funny stretch that saw a bunch of Brian Christopher's cronies either a.) lose their hair as a result of various match stipulations, or b.) get hired and immediately fired for not putting their hair up on Christopher's behalf. Jarrett finally gets Christopher's hair on the line, and they run through two heel miscommunication false finishes before Bret Prentice & Mike Samples trip up Jarrett and get Christopher the Southern title. Very Pat Patterson-esque match that we see. Quote
WingedEagle Posted January 23, 2014 Report Posted January 23, 2014 Some guy named Rivers interfering on Christopher's behalf. Another stiff then interferes, but Christopher escapes again. Christopher gets the pin using the feet for leverage. I guess USWA needs some love this year, but this wasn't exactly anything to write home about. Quote
soup23 Posted December 14, 2014 Report Posted December 14, 2014 Ugh, this felt like Memphis C-team stuff and Christopher is someone who still has rarely made it into the good level throughout the 1990's. Overbooked finish and he wins the Southern title. Not too inspiring. Quote
garretta Posted June 10, 2016 Report Posted June 10, 2016 From what I've seen of Brian, he doesn't need this much interference to beat anyone. Four run-ins? I know that Prentice and Samples are their top heels of the moment, but who the hell are the other two jokers? I've never seen either of them before in my life, and based on what they did here I'll be quite happy never to see them again. I get that they needed to screw Jeff out of the belt, but this was beyond ridiculous. It's almost like Vince Russo was booking Memphis under another name. Come on, Papa, you can do better than this!
