Man Mountain Rock plays the Royal Rumble theme on his electric guitar. Guy was definitely not a terrible wrestler, but neither company could ever really figure out a way to use him.

Always thought this guy had potential, moreso in WCW. I wish he had ended up in ECW. The WWF gimmick was stupid.

I was always really disapointed we never got the teased Bob Backlund vs Man Mountain Rock feud.

 

Backlund's "ROLLING ROCK, FROOOZZZZEEEENNNN TEA" promo was a thing of beauty.

After watching his whole stint in WCW, I must come back on my ill-advised words. This guy stunk up the joint. He had exactly one good match in his entire stint, and that was a garbage match with Cac and the Nasties. A combo that delivered a great match when he was replaced by Sullivan.

Darryl Peterson had a cool gimmick, was an under-the-radar good promo, was an accomplished amateur wrestler, and trained in the New Japan dojo. He had all the tools to be a legitimate major star, but it never came together for him anywhere. Here, it was decided that Maxx Payne was too similar to the Undertaker, so they ramped up the cheeseball factor and stuck him in some of the worst ring attire in the history of wrestling.
