Loss Posted November 12, 2011 Author Report Posted November 12, 2011 Too lazy to look up the buyrate for SuperBrawl, but if it was good, Flair deserves part of the credit, as he was a key part of the build. Flair does his first live interview since his retirement and it's a good one. Flair says he is tired of watching wrestling on TV, and that he's either going to buy WCW from Ted Turner, become an advisor to someone or get back in otherwise somehow. He says he won't wrestle, but he still has a lot to offer. He winked at Vader to make it obvious to everyone at home that he'll have a role in the main event, and there we go.
Tim Evans Posted February 20, 2012 Report Posted February 20, 2012 Did Flair really just tease that he might become an Advisor for Vince? Flair in the Gorilla Monsoon position as president of WWF would have ruled.

Agreed. Hogan absolutely sucked during this period, and they ran exacly zero angle on TV to build the match after the abortion that was the Clash post-match. Flair does a better job building interest for that PPV in one promo that they did since the beginning. Flair can't get back in the ring too soon at this point to me.
PeteF3 Posted August 25, 2014 Report Posted August 25, 2014 Hogan/Vader is a match that sort of sells itself, but Flair's promise to be at ringside is pretty much a clincher. Ric is immediately a shot in the arm for WCW programming.
