I liked this vignette. Paul Bearer could be really effective at times.

I personally thought Taker made this vignette with his menace.

Bearer was good in this but Taker I thought was actually really good in it. His darkened figure looming was a cool visual.

The visual of the casket rolling away revealing Taker was cool as hell. Good Paul Bearer promo too. You rarely get these types of promos today which really add character and layers and were enhanced by the outdoor vibe.

Bearer's Frankie Valli vocals are like nails on a chalkboard, but the setting is cool.

I didn't think Percy added a damn thing, but then he usually doesn't. It's not really his fault that his voice is naturally high-pitched, but he's gone into permanent falsetto, which isn't creepy at all. I'm not even convinced that Taker even needed a manager now that he was established.

 

The visual of the casket was suitably scary, as was the setting, but Percy's presence cast a needless cartoon pall over the whole thing. Vince should have sent Taker out on his own by now and put Percy in the office full-time.
