MORE HOTEL PUNS. MAKE IT STOP, SHAWN. Funny to see Shawn sucking up to Perfect after they spent the previous year feuding, but they at least acknowledge the past feud, which makes me happy. They hype an upcoming feud with Luger, and I have never been completely clear on why he left the WWF this time.

They really like to run things into the ground. Felt at this time that Perfect's return at this time was so short that he wasn't even on TV other than WrestleMania. Mr. Perfect puts aside previous history with Shawn with a handshake to show that he is indeed a bad guy. I remember WWF promoting Luger/Perfect for a local house show post WM but it seems from the match results I'm going through that Perfect never wrestled.

Shawn has reached eternal annoyance on this little program he runs. Perfect cuts a solid promo teasing a feud with Luger. Okay stuff.

Hotel puns got to be a little much here. I also was unaware that Perfect had any appearances after Wrestlemania. Perfect cuts an ok promo.

Perfect apparently broke a toe before he could do his house show run with Lex, and simply never bothered to come back. Perfect ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT hold a grudge against Luger, even though Lex knocked him out "391 days ago" at WrestleMania IX. Love the sarcasm in that line, and I'm digging all the little nods to history here. Kind of out of character for the WWF. This is actually a pretty awesome overall promo from Perfect, and despite his in-ring deterioration I think the WWF was a lot poorer for having lost him at this time.
