Dory is ambushed on his way to the ring. He comes back and is all I'LL HIT YOU WITH AN UPPERCUT! I'LL SHOW YOU! Short match. Shane Douglas runs in and beats up Tommy Dreamer after he secures the win for his team. The ring feels with the whole roster to keep them apart. Mr. Hughes and 9-1-1 have a staredown and throw a few punches. Then, Sabu and Shane Douglas brawl and Funk comes back with a table to throw in the ring. Big, fun clusterfuck.

Short match and a bit of a mess. Douglas comes down and attacks Dreamer. Public Enemy continue to brawl with the Funks and Grunge goes through the wall. The lockeroom empties to break up Douglas/Dreamer fighting. I figure they probably should have been trying to break up Funks/Enemy instead. Mr Hughes and 911 have a stare down also.

This was a giant clusterfuck but fun. Terry was great running around during the chaos heaving chairs and boards into the ring. Great stuff.

The match was nothing but I did like the post match peeling off into the different angles with 911/Mr. Hughes, Douglas/Sabu, and PE/Funks. This did a good job hyping up heatwave and for once, Styles didn’t seem ridiculous how out of control everything was.

This was whatever. Styles attempts to put over the fact that Dory Funk Jr., a man who hasn't changed his facial expression since 1974, is "visibly upset." Dreamer gets a quick pinfall on "The Hopeless Hoodie," and gets attacked by Shane Douglas afterward. They have a laughably bad brawl and for some reason *this* of all things empties out the entire locker room, and I can only guess it's to spare the rest of us the sight of these two trading feather punches. 911 and Mr. Hughes have a confrontation that sets up the most horrifying possible match since Jeff Gaylord vs. the Snowman. Sabu and Shane finally come out to add some fire to all this.
