Classy tribute to Joey Marella, who recently passed away in an auto accident. No mention of him being Gorilla Monsoon's son.

I liked Joey Marella as a referee as he seemed to do the good job of now being too noticeable in action which annoys me about certain referees. Never understood why he wasn't the number one official in WWF. Nice tribute though.

Hebner was so good at his job that it would've been ridiculous him not being no.1 referee.

So Joey was barely 24 when he officiated the main event at WrestleMania 3. Marella was a much better referee than Earl Hebner, the type of ref you don't notice in a good way. Classy segment.
