Chris Cruise in the hype control center going over AAA Worlds Collide PPV. I am not sure who the intended audience for this hype segment was for. They run down the card but don't show actual video clips of Lucha. I feel if this was targeted towards casual fans they would need more info to purchase the PPV.

The IWC! Mr. Wrestling X was right! It truly is a phenomenon! A lucha libre phenomenon that looks like a hell of a lineup.

This was pretty cool. The line-up for that card was really excellent.

I never understood what was trying to be accomplished for this PPV but the card was great anyway.

Chris Cruise hypes this well enough, but we're not given much of a reason to care about any of these guys. I can only imagine what these names must have meant to your average WCW viewer, especially "Madonna's Boyfriend." No clips, no histories other than quick lip-service paid to masks and hair, no real acknowledgment of familiar names like Santana, Scorpio, and Benoit...yeah, as cool as this all was, I don't know what they were trying to accomplish with this.
