Loss Posted July 1, 2012 Author Report Posted July 1, 2012 Cornette is at ringside with the Rock & Rolls and jabs one of the Infernos with the tennis racket. Cornette is even leading the crowd in a "Rock and roll" chant, which is surreal. The Gangstas attack the Rock & Rolls after the match and Cornette takes off, which causes Jim Ross to get self-righteous, until he realizes that Cornette came back with extra tennis rackets. He gets in the ring and hits New Jack and Mustafa with a few shots of his own. Great segment. Post-match, Morton tells everyone to snap a picture of the three of them together, because it will never happen again. Cornette does a great job hyping this. Quote
soup23 Posted July 30, 2012 Report Posted July 30, 2012 This was amazing to see especially when cornette brings out two more rackets and the crowd is going nuts with Cornette and the Rock N Rolls waving them around. The promo was also good with them not totally buying in yet but are more certain than before. Quote
El-P Posted December 30, 2012 Report Posted December 30, 2012 Surreal moment that was great for a babyface pop although ambiguous because the Rock'n Roll don't fully trust Cornette either. Excellent angle with great execution and promos to build to this first step of Cornette together with the R'n'R hitting the Gangstas with tennis rackets. Corny throwing rackets to the Rock'n'Roll was the best. Quote
PeteF3 Posted August 2, 2014 Report Posted August 2, 2014 Another magnificent build to a hot match, which Cornette was doing better than anybody in the U.S. The Rock 'n Rolls walking tall while swinging tennis rackets is a pretty iconic moment, or should be at least. Quote
