Loss
Talk about it here.
Loss
The Lethal Weapons are Dennis Condrey and Doug Gilbert. Paul E. mentions that he gets asked all the time why he isn't in Atlanta anymore, and he says it's because he wanted to go out and find the very best tag team on the face of the earth. Really good stuff from Paul E.
PeteF3
Paul E. does his best to get this over, claiming the Lethal Weapons are his best team and even declares that he isn't "doing a Lou Albano" and saying his latest team is automatically the best. Doug Gilbert is the "problem child" of the Gilbert family, which is saying something, and Paul E. doesn't even like him. They're not a "family," they're not a "stable"--they're an Alliance. soup23
Both Doug and dennis look out of context to how I am used to seeing them. Kind of nice touch how they allude to Atlanta which I guess was a new market at this time. Paul E so far has shown his hyping abilities with him making ever segment he is in seem really big. Kevin Ridge
Heyman talks about Gilbert and how much of a horrible person he is and that he doesn’t even like him. But they are an alliance and a dangerous one at that.
Cox
I love Paul E talking about how much he doesn't like Doug Gilbert. Really makes him seem like he's the rottenest of the rotten if even Paul E. doesn't like him. Good promo.
garretta
Did Will cut the tape off, or did the show go to break before Paul really got started? By the time they actually got to Condrey and Gilbert, the interview ran for about ten more seconds. Other than saying that Paul's as glib as usual, it's hard to judge the promo when it's cut off like that, regardless of who did it. Nice dig at Captain Lou; I wonder if Savoldi ever tried to bring him into ICW.
drew wardlaw
This ICW stuff is very disorienting to me.
GSR
Heyman says how he was walking down the street in Atlanta when someone came up to him and asked where is the Danger Zone? What are you doing now? How come I don’t see you in Atlanta anymore? It’s because he has decide to go out and get himself the greatest tag team God’s ever put on the face of the earth, the Lethal Weapons. He’s managed Austin Idol & Tommy Rich, the Original Midnight Express and the Samoan Swat Team, but ‘The Hitman’ Doug Gilbert is the nastiest, stinkiest, rottenest human being he’s ever come across in his life; he doesn’t even like him! The fact is they’re not friends, they’re not a family, they’re not a stable, they’re an alliance, an alliance of not one, but two, two Lethal Weapons! Heyman has been top draw in these segment so far; be it getting over Phil Apollo, plugging the return of Paul Orndorff or hyping his new tag team. He makes everything seem like a big deal, even when that really isn’t the case.
