Loss Posted November 4, 2012 Author Report Posted November 4, 2012 Last few minutes. Referee Tony Falk gets bumped, which creates an opening for Akbar to trip Adams, and for Austin to pull out brass knucks again. But the referee comes to just in time to see Adams with them, and Adams takes the DQ loss so he can punch Austin. Similar finish to the week before, but it's building to a match the following Friday with no referee. Quote
PeteF3 Posted November 9, 2012 Report Posted November 9, 2012 I had to confirm that this wasn't a repeat of the previous match. In the short amount of footage there was a pretty contrived-looking ref bump and Adams rather stupidly running right at Akbar so he could get tripped. Quote
soup23 Posted November 24, 2012 Report Posted November 24, 2012 This is the same clip as before isn't it. Percys call on commentary is the same. Quote
Kevin Ridge Posted January 18, 2013 Report Posted January 18, 2013 Totally seemed like the same match as previous one between them. Quote
Cox Posted January 20, 2013 Report Posted January 20, 2013 Either this is the same match, or Austin was so green at this point, that Adams had to call the same match spot for spot, including finish, two weeks in a row. I'm not ruling that out, either. Quote
garretta Posted December 18, 2014 Report Posted December 18, 2014 This is definitely the same match as the one the previous week. Not only is Percy's commentary the same, so is Marc's. Quote
drew wardlaw Posted December 29, 2015 Report Posted December 29, 2015 Yeah, looks like its the same match. I was going to be upset it was specifically said in the Chris Adams promo that no closed fists would be allowed, and what's the first thing we see here? A closed fist! Quote
GSR Posted December 15, 2016 Report Posted December 15, 2016 Unfortunately this is a repeat of the match from 3/9. Shame as I was looking forward to the ‘scientific match’ between the two of them. Quote
