Loss Posted November 11, 2012 Author Report Posted November 11, 2012 Same commercial as before, with a preview of Robocop 2 tacked onto the end.
soup23 Posted December 10, 2012 Report Posted December 10, 2012 Seeing this again didn't make it any less stupid.
Kevin Ridge Posted January 18, 2013 Report Posted January 18, 2013 Think it over creep! It does kind of make me want to watch one of the Robocop movies right now.
Cox Posted February 3, 2013 Report Posted February 3, 2013 I have to think being associated with Robocop is not going to do much for Sting's career in a promotion like WCW.
garretta Posted December 25, 2014 Report Posted December 25, 2014 Okay, so now we know why WCW wanted Robocop to be part of Capital Combat. But like Soup said, that didn't make it any less stupid. One other question: why put Sting's head on another man's body for this commercial? Wasn't he muscular enough for WCW? If not, I think we're beginning to see why his run on top failed, and considering how over he was, that would be a major disgrace in a business that's chock full of them.
drew wardlaw Posted March 19, 2016 Report Posted March 19, 2016 This is the same one right? We get a promo for Robocop 2 at the end. Robocop 2, pretty good. Not quite as good or as pointed as the first, but a good action movie with a great heel in the little boy. I'm trying to remember the name of the drug they're selling. It's something like "X" or something? I mean X is a different drug, but it's something like that. One syllable.
GSR Posted December 22, 2016 Report Posted December 22, 2016 ‘The Horsemen said that they were going to take him out, but they made a big mistake when he started messing with the little Stingers. So now the time has come. Before you make your next move…’ ‘Think it over creep!’ Yup, really looks like they are trying to get sales off the back of Robocop! Promo for Robocop 2 after the Capital Combat commercial.
