Loss Posted January 13, 2013 Author Report Posted January 13, 2013 We start with Bill Dundee coming out. I love that he cuts promos on gas prices. This is incredibly xenophobic and mildly racist toward Middle Easterners, but it works. Quote
PeteF3 Posted January 28, 2013 Report Posted January 28, 2013 Dundee is livid that he has to pay A DOLLAR-FIFTY per gallon of gas. *sniff* It appears to be a loser-leaves-town match set for Monday between Lawler/Dundee and the two Sheiks. Quote
soup23 Posted February 2, 2013 Report Posted February 2, 2013 Dundee was all sorts of fired up for this programs and cuts another great promo here. Quote
Kevin Ridge Posted February 12, 2013 Report Posted February 12, 2013 Bill Dundee is delightful racist in these promos. He's not happy about the gas prices and doesn’t like what the sheiks stand for. Quote
garretta Posted March 16, 2015 Report Posted March 16, 2015 Dundee hits it out of the park again. He's right about one thing; no one's been able to run him and Lawler out of Memphis for long. Hell, they can't even run each other out of town for long! I liked his references to gas prices too. Believe me, he was voicing what many in the audience felt (and still feel today) about the situation in the Middle East. Racism and xenophobia are never acceptable, but sometimes they're understandable, and late 1990 was one of those times. By the way, whatever happened to the Dundees/DWBs match that was advertised on the disc? Was it dated wrong, or was it a last-minute cut? Quote
