PeteF3 Posted March 28, 2013 Report Posted March 28, 2013 IRS threatens to tighten any tax loophole RIGHT AROUND YOUR NECK. One thing this and the Mountie segments are missing is motivation. So he's a mountie and a tax collector--what are they doing wrestling, then? Later preview segments would get better at that aspect regardless of how absurd the gimmick was.
Kevin Ridge Posted April 14, 2013 Report Posted April 14, 2013 IRS doesn’t like late filers. I'm one of those. He wants itemized receipts for business expenses. IRS doesn’t care for tax loop holes either.
soup23 Posted June 19, 2013 Report Posted June 19, 2013 I must sympathize with IRS when it comes to business expenses
garretta Posted May 10, 2015 Report Posted May 10, 2015 I agree with Pete about motivations for these "moonlighting" wrestlers, but in fairness, it's the weekend before Tax Day, so the gimmick doesn't really need to be tied into wrestling just yet. Let's see how they structure these things once April 15 has come and gone. Rotundo's getting more pugnacious here, which is unfortunate. Like I said earlier, acting too much like a wrestler is what killed most of these gimmicks; after all, would your average accountant threaten to close tax loopholes right around someone's neck? Taker's the only one who's avoided this trap so far, although it's actually more like he and Percy transcend it.
