Loss Posted April 1, 2013 Author Report Posted April 1, 2013 Paul E. and Arn are awesome in this short segment. This came across a little like "Oh yeah, these two are fighting on PPV tomorrow", but I still liked it.
shoe Posted April 4, 2013 Report Posted April 4, 2013 In this segment they are reading a brawl for their match at Superbrawl. I suspect we don 't get that . Still this is a nice little piece of business to get people interested in this match .
PeteF3 Posted April 6, 2013 Report Posted April 6, 2013 Bobby's whole career has been based around safety in numbers, while Arn has been defending the TV title by himself for a solid year. I guess Zenk's little reign is basically erased from history. Not much to say about Arn's promo other than it was naturally another good one, while Eaton delivers his one line just fine.
Kevin Ridge Posted May 1, 2013 Report Posted May 1, 2013 Arn was playing up Ric Flair talking about how expensive his clothes are and how cheap Bobby's are. Brief little brawl between Anderson and Eaton.
soup23 Posted July 8, 2013 Report Posted July 8, 2013 Glad Shoe mentioned it because it was weird how they made this match out to be hyped as a brawl instead of a technical masterpiece. I also always get jarred hearing Eaton talk.
garretta Posted May 27, 2015 Report Posted May 27, 2015 They kind of threw this in at the last second, but it was still good for what it was. Arn's great at explaining the differences between him and Bobby, and brings up that Bobby's never done much in WCW without Corny and Stan/Dennis in his corner, which is true. Bobby takes exception, and we're at it. Bobby must have been very rusty on the mic, because I know from the DVDVR Memphis set that he can talk better than this. Of course, that's not really the point of the segment, but it's worth noting for future reference. Great little roll call of past TV champions from Heyman at the beginning, and it's nice to hear Tully included. The door must have been open for him to return if he'd wished to, and that makes sense with Dusty back in the booker's chair.
