Shawn Michaels will be out 4-6 weeks with a knee and neck injury and Bret reinjured his knee as a result of the brawl they had. Vince calls this unprofessional conduct but also says Bret was the aggressor. Anyway, because of this they are holding a tag title tournament since Shawn and Austin were champs.

These knee injuries are becoming hard to keep track of. Was Shawn legit hurt or just given some time off? Tag title tournament has been set up to determine new champions.

Welp everyone is screwed up because of the big backstage fight. Does kind of fill like some momentum was stunted with this news.

It's a minor part of the story, but this makes the decision to not just put the belts on LOD last week even worse.

Big news here with Vince & JR saying Michaels is out for 4-6 weeks with injuries sustained from the backstage fight with Bret. Bret reaggravated his surgically repaired knee during the fight & will be gone for a few days as well. A tag tourney is announced to decide who will wrestle Austin & a partner of his choosing for the Tag Title. This definitely caused some shake-ups in the storylines. This fight seems like it might have opened up the big opportunity with Foley campaigning to be Austin's partner.
