Loss
Talk about it here.
Loss
As these matches go, this had its moments. I liked Tanaka doing the plancha over the barbed wire to the floor. This was really just Tanaka vs Kanemura with other guys in the mix not really doing much. Tanaka and Kanemura come across as stars worth caring about, but no one else involved does. FLIK
Tanaka and Kanemura come across as stars worth caring about, but no one else involved does. Heh, can't figure out if you're stating this as an observation or a criticism because at this stage, Kanemura & Tanaka should be the focus given that they're going to main & semi main event the 2nd biggest shows of the year in a month or so
Kevin Ridge
I’m wondering why only two sides of the ring has barbed wire before we see what is waiting on the floor. Kanemura survives a powerbomb on a barbed wire board before being put away with one on the ring mat. They went backwards there.
soup23
Tanaka and Kanemura being the focus is fine but everyone else was total dead weight. I like multiman matches with other little themes surrounding the main event conflict. Still waiting for a death match this year from the mens side to really grab me. This was another match that was fine but not spectacular and I doubt I will be able to remember anything in a week.
PeteF3
Okay-ish, but once again Tanaka is the brightest star and Kanemura in second place. Here we don't even get a real patented Tanaka comeback, which I love. He just reverses a power bomb into one of the spidernets and then puts Kanemura away quickly afterward.
