Last few minutes. RVD runs in and helps Sabu beat up Dreamer. Sabu gives Beulah a lariat. Sandman runs out but gets laid out. More heat on RVD that will never be paid off. Both get laid under a WWF flag, because when I think of the WWF I think of Sabu and Rob Van Dam. Taz actually makes the save when the crowd chants for him for once. He gets Alfonso in the Tazmission.

IIRC this angle caused a minor outrage on the net at the time. I guess combined with the previous flag covering angle. Now it seems like no big deal, but in 1997...

Sabu nails Beulah and Sandman tries to make the save. RVD and Sabu now bury Dreamer, Sandman and Beulah under the WWF banner. Crowd wants Taz and he quickly comes out and chokes out Alfonzo. The banner thing would have worked better months back when Lawler and Cornette were involved.

This starts off right as RVD hits the ring. RVD has been inserted into the main feuds in ECW. Him and Sabu beat up Dreamer, Beulah, and Sandman in sucession. They do the WWF flag burial thing which I still hate and don't really get. Taz comes out at the end and puts Fonzie in the tazmission to a big pop as we fade out.

*Yawn* Seen it. Styles' silent shock at Beulah getting abused is old hat, too--that well has been gone to WAY too many times for it to actually get heat anymore. Same angle as last week except this time Sandman gets buried as well. Taz once again makes a save a day late and a dollar short.
