Loss Posted July 31, 2013 Report Posted July 31, 2013 I loved Cory Maclin's weird enunciation. "YOU-nified title!"
ajtroma Posted July 31, 2013 Report Posted July 31, 2013 Well, it is said when a father of six gets taken at a fairly young age. Corey never was one of my favorites. In fact, it was always a running joke about how bad he was. I'm surprised he was only 43. He'd started on TV in 1990, which would have made him only 20 and at 21 he was sidekicking with Dave Brown. I'd have thought he was a good 5 - 10 years older. Those Memphis dvds he put out a few years ago were kind of a jip.
soup23 Posted July 31, 2013 Report Posted July 31, 2013 The KING JERRY LAWLER. I didn't realize how young Maclin was when he first started out. I was never a big fan but he was 22-23 years olf in that 1992-94 stuff I have watched. Always seemed like a nice guy that at least loved being a part of the business.

The age did read strange as an article mentioned him becoming a "station manager" at 18... which is really odd unless your dad owns it. 20/21 is also young to start in that gig next to Brown. Wonder if 43 was his "tv age". :/
WingedEagle Posted August 1, 2013 Report Posted August 1, 2013 Really sad news, especially leaving behind such a large family. Best wishes to all of his loved ones.
