jdw Posted October 3, 2013 Report Posted October 3, 2013 I thought the question was about "wrestlers", not "pro wrestlers". If it's "pro wrestlers", Tyson would have beat the shit out of Hogan in 1989 if you put them in an MMA fight. Quote
JerryvonKramer Posted October 4, 2013 Author Report Posted October 4, 2013 I was thinking more along the lines of a Billy Robinson or a Danny Hodge. A prowrestler who could shoot. Although that day I was talking about it with some friends, it was noted that Hogan was almost a full foot taller than Tyson, so I imagined that he could he have just put his hand on his forehead and Tyson couldn't have reached him since Hogan's arms were obviously longer too. Trip, big boot, legdrop, 1,2 3. Quote
Matt D Posted October 4, 2013 Report Posted October 4, 2013 Obviously this is all about who wins in 1986, Tyson or the Great Kabuki (with Gary Hart)? Quote
JerryvonKramer Posted October 4, 2013 Author Report Posted October 4, 2013 Kabuki to win it in 23:56 with the boring-as-hell nerve hold applied for 95% of the match. Quote
Lee Casebolt Posted October 5, 2013 Report Posted October 5, 2013 Danny Hodge vs a boxer who can't wrestle is basically homicide. Quote
jdw Posted October 7, 2013 Report Posted October 7, 2013 Of course Hodge is a "wrestler" who went into "pro wrestling". It's likely that Verne would have beaten Ezzard Charles if they had an MMA fight in 1952. We can find lots of people like that. But that's a different beast from a "pro wrestler" like Hogan. Quote
Matt D Posted October 7, 2013 Report Posted October 7, 2013 Wait. If it'd Hollywood Hogan, can he use the weight belt? Quote
