dawho5
Kofi works really, really fucking light. Kane as the voice of reason and Bryan as the spiteful avenger is a nice role reversal. Kane annoys me every time I see him wrestle. He works almost as light as Kofi. The Shield taunting Bryan as the weak link is so awesome. I thought Ambrose was the most impressive of the Shield members here. One thing I hate about the whole "the Shield thrives in chaos" thing is that they thrive in order too. When they isolate somebody it's usually not chaotic at all. It's worked in a way that's methodical regardless of their pace. Kane taking the fall is a step up for the Shield, they finally get the fall on the big name in the matchup.
supersonic
Excellent trios match as one, a genuine contender for the Shield's best match. While I don't remember everything about this match because there are so many featuring these guys I've watched in the last day or so, this was some truly outstanding shit. Once again, the ring gets cut in half by the Shield, a trait I'm sure Arn Anderson has taught all of them as a producer. There were also two or three hot tags, all of them getting great reactions. Fantastic action of course as expected. This was about the time that the Shield carried themselves with unquestionable confidence, just stealing the show and walking around like they own every spot they walked into. Also important is that this is where Daniel Bryan REALLY started to get over both on offense and when selling. ****
ShittyLittleBoots
2013 was filled with great TV matches between Team Hell No (+ friends) & The Shield. I've always thought of this one as possibly THE best one of the bunch, and I am glad to report that it still holds up tremendously. Every segment of the match rules big time; the babyfaces getting that shine, Kofi getting isolated by The Shield, Bryan's hot tag, Bryan as the FIP, Kane's hot tag & the finishing stretch. Everything about this is absolute excellence and comes with a RED HOT crowd to boot. ****1/
