Loss
Recent research indicates that the anthropomorphization (my new favorite word) of animals in children's books is harmful. This thread is probably just an excuse for me to use my new favorite word, but perhaps we can compile a list of all wrestlers with animal gimmicks. dawho5
Super Delfin comes to mind. Shark Boy was an indy guy at one point or am I thinking of some fictional thing? Lioness Asuka may or may not count. Wasn't there a luchador named Fishman? That's all I got off the top of my head.
ohtani's jacket
My daughter was a huge fan of a Japanese animation that anthropomorphises food. I guess that's why she's a picky eater.
NintendoLogic
There's an interview with Jake Roberts in the latest issue of WWE Magazine in which he mentions that he first suggested bringing a snake with him to the ring in Mid-South. Bill Watts flat-out shot him down, saying that it wasn't a circus and that the idea was stupid.

Cross Face Chicken Wing
A Yeti isn't really an animal, but there is a whole generation of children who grew up thinking all Yeti's will awkwardly start humping you if you come across one in the wild.
