sek69
Nice to see ROH decided to finally put their belt on someone who isn't signed to a WWE contract.
Coffey
Eh, I had no problems with CM Punk or Gibson with the belt. It's not like they weren't still going to be around ROH anyway.
Mad Dog
It's still not the greatest of choices. I don't think putting the belt on a guy that's considering retirement is a great idea but at least they've stopped with this WWF madness. Danielson has to hold the belt for at least 6 months to restore the belts credibility.
Coffey
Personally, I'd rather have Homicide get a run than American Dragon.
Mad Dog
Yeah, but I think RoH has made it pretty clear this summer that they don't view Homicide as a main eventer.

Mad Dog
3 title changes in 3 months isn't the way to make people believe your belt is important. Especially when it's well known that two of the guys were heading to the WWF and that RoH was doing it to jerk their fans around.
Guest Famous Mortimer
I don't mind this, in fact I think it's a good move. He's an amazing worker and will, given the chances, work well for them. I don't care about the title changes, not every reign can be 6 months +, and they do exist in a world where WWE will snap up talent. So I'm glad about this. JHawk
They had basically booked themselves into a corner with this. They had to get the belt off of Gibson since he could be called by WWE to go on the road at anytime. Plus, the kayfabe reason Dragon left in May was his failure to win the belt off of Aries. The fact that Dragon might be the best worker in the company (an arguable point, I know, but you can make the case for it) only helps matters.
