Jericho welcomes us to Monday Night Jericho. Lane interrupts and asks for the $1000 Jericho agreed to pay for impersonating him. Jericho says that actually Lane owes him $1000 because he stunk up the suit and now it is ruined. Lane decks him. Good continuity and giving Jericho something minor to do while Malenko is on the bench playing up the angle.

Lenny Lane quickly interrupts Chris Jericho because he owes him $1000 for helping him out on Thunder. Jericho calls him a "young boy" and accuses him of pulling that whole stunt without Jericho's knowledge or permission. He also famously says his Loverboy tape is missing, and that it's Lane who owes him $1000 for ruining his wrestling gear. Lane ends up slapping Jericho.

Jericho stuns the wrestling world by revealing that Larry Lane actually ransacked his gear, belt, and mask and faced Malenko on his own. I believe the conspiracy has officially begun.
