Loss
Dustin Rhodes comes out in all black and sets his Goldust attire on fire. He claims Vince took his dignity away and is the reason he has no relationship with his father, ex-wife or daughter. He announces that Goldust dies tonight. This is a really good, heartfelt promo. I just wish they had more of an idea of how to follow up on it so they wouldn't have to reverse course in a few months.

soup23
This was a good progression for the character and felt like the next step given the weirdness. Dustin buries the Goldust character and says Vince will not forget the name of Dustin. I want to book a tag with him and Owen to run the tag division against the Outlaws. PeteF3
Goldust is out a week after getting destroyed by Kane because of his failures the week before that. That's the final straw, as he sets his Goldust attire on fire and blames Vince for his estrangement from his family. It may have been time to get away from Goldust for awhile, but yes, the follow-up really wasn't there and this quickly is going to become Owen Hart Redux. TravJ1979
It was as they were pushing him main event as he comes in and attacks Austin during the main event. I'll take this Dustin over the "he's coming back" Dustin.
