Loss Posted August 27, 2014 Author Report Posted August 27, 2014 Taz unveils the FTW belt for the first time. Taz calls Douglas out - Brooklyn vs Pittsburgh - but gets Bigelow instead. Bigelow takes exception to the new belt and tells Taz the only way he will get to Shane in the future is to go through him. Taz lays down the belt and wants to fight and referees fill the ring. One of them takes an incredible bump all the way into the fans before they are pulled apart. Good stuff.
soup23 Posted September 7, 2014 Report Posted September 7, 2014 Elks Lodge is always my favorite ECW venue. The FTW belt seems stupid to me and a bitch thing for Taz to do while Douglas is presumably on the bench. Speaking of which, ECW is suffereing from the same WCW problems as multiple guys are feuding making the focus become blurred. Hopefully, we can hone in on Bam Bam vs. Taz in earnest as the pull apart here was good and heated.
PeteF3 Posted June 1, 2016 Report Posted June 1, 2016 The flying ref redeemed this segment, as Taz spent most of the rest of it acting too much like an entitled heel instead of a tough guy.
TravJ1979 Posted September 6, 2016 Report Posted September 6, 2016 Didn't Taz show the belt at A Matter of Respect when he fake joined the Triple Threat? Either way this wasn't engaging at all. Bam Bam and Taz has been done to death.
