Loss
Brandon Baxter has changed his look a lot since I last saw him in 1996. They are wise enough to limit Stacy and Baxter being in the ring to mere seconds at a time. Tony Falk runs in to stop the count after Stacy delivers a low blow to Baxter and Jacqueline runs out and attacks him, along with some other people I don't recognize, Bill Dundee and Billy Joe Travis. soup23
This didnt get as much time as the previous studio matches. Diamond and Lawler have some solid sequences and Baxter and Stacy are relied on for comedy spots. TOny Falk runs in with the worst tights I have ever seen even topping those atrocious Quack tights from earlier. A big brawl closes out the show with the entire roster duking it out. PeteF3
Baxter's lost a ton of weight and looks like a much skinnier Justin Credible. This is sort of an abbreviated version of Bobby Heenan at Survivor Series, as Baxter runs for his life any time Lawler approaches the apron and only tags in when Lawler's in trouble. He quickly finds himself at the mercy of Stacy, who eventually gets in a testicular claw and is about to pin him when Tony Falk breaks the count. Yes, those Falk tights are horrendous--far worse than Quack's and worse than Lawler's "Dreamwear" polka dot look. The locker room empties and we go off the air with the studio in chaos. PPW is definitely a much more TV-centered product than the USWA was, as at this point they were only running sold casino shows and not the MSC or Flea Market or Pipkin Building yet.
