Off camera, Shawn is attacked and we come back from commercial and he's covered in blood. So this was probably a little too subtle by WWF standards, but DX basically sacrificed Shawn to the Corporation as revenge for turning on them. Dooley Posted June 26, 2015 Report Share Posted June 26, 2015 I thought this was really well done because it always bugged me when after a quick babyface turn, all the heel's ills were forgotten. Especially in this situation where Shawn's face turn didn't have anything to do with helping DX. PeteF3 Posted February 8, 2017 Report Share Posted February 8, 2017 Clever angle here that's sort of forgotten quickly, as the stuff about DX sacrificing him isn't really touched upon again. The cameraman gets knocked down, which is a neat way of not actually showing the attack and not forcing Shawn to do much physically besides take one shot to the gut.
