Loss
Talk about it here.
Loss
Chavo is out with Pepe to celebrate the hobby horse's first birthday! There's a cake and this is wrestling. He leads the crowd in singing Happy Birthday when Norman Smiley crashes the party. Chavo is basically treating Pepe like Al Snow treats Head now. Anyway, Chavo tells him he wasn't invited, then attacks Chavo and throwing him into the birthday cake and bodyslamming him on the table. He then takes Pepe to a woodchipper and destroys him! I still think they should have gone all the way with this and had Pepe's head on Norman's pillow one morning when he woke up.
soup23
Man, Pepe is gone already? Feels like he was honestly around a lot longer. This is good mid card comedy stuff to me which is fine for a promotion to have one instance of and this got pretty over with the crowd. Tim Evans
It's funny WWE did a version of this with Perry saturn and Moppy. This was silly but not awful.
Zenjo
If you didn't know what was going to happen with that cake then congratulations. Your life will be filled with surprises every day. The fans actually played along rather than booed it out the building. That showed they were doing it right. Goofy fun. Nor-men Smi-lay had a bizarre accent that seemed to be a mix of Carribean, English and American.
PeteF3
Crowd is into the idea of singing for Pepe. Goofy and silly, but at least Smiley and Chavo are committed, which makes this work for what it is.
