Loss Posted October 22, 2014 Author Report Posted October 22, 2014 The big last-minute switcheroo that pissed everyone off, as Road Dogg wins the Intercontinental title, putting him in the Billy Gunn spot in the feud with Val Venis and Ken Shamrock. The storyline in this one is that Val has promised to win the match in three minutes, so he wrestles with a lot of urgency. Pretty good short match with both guys going all out, but I think short matches like this in title changes play a small role in an IC title like we have today. This match is tremendous to be so short though.
tim Posted December 18, 2014 Report Posted December 18, 2014 This is a good short match, they keep things moving and the action is decent. Ending is unexpected.
Tim Evans Posted January 30, 2015 Report Posted January 30, 2015 I see they are building JR's desk while the match is going on so that distracts the announcers. Good use of time by both guys.
soup23 Posted March 10, 2015 Report Posted March 10, 2015 Not a bad match but between the hotshotting and the construction of the desk distracting the moment of Road Dogg winning, this is a failure all around.
PeteF3 Posted April 21, 2017 Report Posted April 21, 2017 These two do the best they can to have a good match given the constraints. Thank God, we have shit involving the construction of an announcer's desk to distract us from all that pesky boring wrestling.
