Last few minutes. Pretty sure this was their first singles match. The match as a whole was pretty disappointing when I watched it in the editing phase.

Vader hits Misawa with a back suplex and it looks like Misawa lands on Vader's hand. That had to suck. I'm surprised this only went 10 minutes. Decent for what's shown.

I liked the action we got here and it feels short so I may check it and the Kobashi January match in full sometime. I am interested to watch these two throughout the year as going through AJ you kind of have an expectation of longer, epic title matches and they turned around that narrative.

The full match was really underwhelming. It was one of those Misawa performances where he just lets his opponent hit all his offence and then comes back to win with the elbow of death.

Good heat for okay but marginal action. I'm not sure I get the logic of your Tokyo Dome challenger pinning the champion in advance of the big show--on the other hand, I wouldn't have gotten the logic of your Triple Crown champion stampeding through the Carnival, either. On the other hand, if Kawada wasn't out then they might have been able to hold off on Misawa vs. Vader one-on-one until the Dome.
