Loss Posted October 25, 2014 Author Report Posted October 25, 2014 The future Rikishi challenges Hayes and gets a "You don't have to leave the building, but you better get on up out of here" response before the match starts. Smooth is in good shape and cuts a quick pace. Glen Kulka comes in and attacks Hayes and since it's a Badstreet Match, there's no DQ and Smooth wins the Power Pro title. Hayes calls this a bunch of BS and wants Kulka out there now. Quote
tim Posted December 29, 2014 Report Posted December 29, 2014 JR Smooth is one awful name. This was a simple, well done studio match with a silly ending as someone interferes and we're then told it's a Badstreet rules, nonsactioned match, except that it's sanctioned to be a title match. Quote
Tim Evans Posted March 12, 2015 Report Posted March 12, 2015 What a downer way to end the Hayes title reign. Jr Smooth was billed as Fatu the week before so he must have changed his name between then. It would be funny if he came to WWF as this character instead of Rikishi. Quote
soup23 Posted March 23, 2015 Report Posted March 23, 2015 Pretty fun match and a shit ending. I wonder when Rikishi was done here and went on to win the hearts of Dylan's mom. Quote
PeteF3 Posted June 14, 2017 Report Posted June 14, 2017 Hayes still has something in the tank, at least in this kind of setting. Why they couldn't find a way to disguise Kulka's interference is beyond me. As it is, Hayes was kind of asking for it. Quote
