Last few minutes. Surprise finish, as Goto and Ohara win the tag titles.

Sasaki is fun here as the unstoppable freight train and the crowd is really hot. Despite Sasaki and Koshinaka totally dominating for the entirety of the clip, Koshinaka gets hit with a side suplex right after pulling off a big double team move and gets pinned.

Sasaki looks gigantic. Were Goto and Ohara still in the NWO at the time? Goto reminds me of Yano of today. Seems like a OK match based on what's shown.

Sasaki was a beast with those lariats. This was a fun match with high octane action from the clips we saw. Good upset to boot.

Goto and Ohara actually won the tag straps in one of the biggest upsets in title history. Neither of these two had many nights in their career when they hadn't hit the showers by 8PM.

Ohara and Goto are getting so thoroughly destroyed that you just *know* this is setting up the upset. This was almost so unpredictable it became predictable, though that's partially selection bias because why else would the finish of this be on the set? Weak-sauce finish but it's not like I like the champs, either. Crowd goes nuts for it.
