Loss Posted October 29, 2014 Author Report Posted October 29, 2014 Last few minutes. The fake Sting comes out to attack Nash and align with Savage and Sid until the real Sting makes the save. Three years and they're still doing this Bogus Sting crap? Sting helps Nash up and Nash doesn't realize he was a fake (since you know, Nash was never in the NWO or anything where they concocted these plans) and powerbombs him. He tells Nash what's left of his old lady is in the dressing room. Savage follows after him and starts attacking her for some reason after slapping Torrie, which got WCW some bad publicity. Quote
tim Posted January 11, 2015 Report Posted January 11, 2015 Savage assaulting Torrie and George backstage is just an exclamation point on how shitty this fued has been. So bad. Quote
Tim Evans Posted April 18, 2015 Report Posted April 18, 2015 I can't beilieve they are doing fake sting in 1999 and the announcers have to actually play it up like it's the real Sting. Real Sting shows up and a fan runs in while other fans are throwing shit in the ring. Then Nash tells Savage where George is which leads to the infamous botchamania "Send In the Man" intro. It's so stupid that Torrie can't even keep a straight face when Savage slaps her. Just putrid. Quote
soup23 Posted June 5, 2015 Report Posted June 5, 2015 A FAKE STING. Bullshit. The announcers of course are confused but are CERTAIN that is the real Sting when he does come down. Nash is unsure and powerbombs him. Savage is an asshole that gets rough with the ladies.. What a complete mess all of this is. Quote
Zenjo Posted September 9, 2015 Report Posted September 9, 2015 Fake Sting appearance #8346! If you're playing a Yearbook drinking game then grab that bottle again. To be fair to the announcers, their job does involve lying constantly. Quote
PeteF3 Posted July 30, 2017 Report Posted July 30, 2017 A fake Sting. In fairness this one--whether it's Jeff Farmer or not--looks a little more convincing than some of the fake Stings of 1997 and '98, but why not just go for the trifecta and get a woman's shoe and some coffee in on this finish, as long as we're recycling old beaten-to-death ideas? Savage gets his women back but throws George around and threatens to slap Torrie Wilson (who seems to be trying to stifle laughter) in a very uncomfortable scene. Reading Bob "RAW IS PORN" Ryder trying to do his best Bruce Prichard and hemming and hawing about how WCW maaaaybe went a little far and could have gotten the message across with just a raised backhand was the height of...well, I wouldn't call it entertaining, but it did well to further expose Ryder for what he is.
